Elmwood's Modern Blue Bungalow

Relax in this beautifully renovated 1932 home in one of Columbia’s most desirable historic neighborhoods, Elmwood Park. Just blocks away from downtown, this gorgeous 2-bed, 2-bath home offers the perfect blend of charm, comfort, and convenience!

Sitting in the Cottontown/NOMA district, you’ll be close to Bull Street, Main Street, the SC Statehouse, the Vista, and USC.

This 1,242 sq. ft. house was built in 1932 and thoughtfully renovated in 2019 to preserve its original charm while adding modern comforts. It boasts two bedrooms (each with a queen bed) and two full bathrooms, an updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a Keurig coffee bar, a living room, a laundry room, a fenced in backyard, and an air mattress.

Guests are welcome to park in the driveway (please stay to the left side as it is shared with the neighbor), or on the street in front of the house.

Guests will receive door code from hosts prior to their stay.

Guests are welcome to use the back patio and backyard space as they like.

A single exterior camera is on the front porch facing the street.

Great location, home was well thought out with modern amenities. The original hard wood floors are amazing! Neighborhood has lots of charm, check in was easy and owners were very responsive. This home was the perfect spot for our family.

I can’t express howMuch we loved staying here, even our dog loved it.. treats and toys were a great bonus.. spacious fenced in backyard for dogsAnd families. Lots of space for outside activities. Beds were comfortable and clean.. such a charming neighborhood. Loved walking the area. Wish we had more time to enjoy.

The house was gorgeous and had everything we needed! The street is quiet and calm. Close to downtown area and convention center. The host was super responsive when I had a concern late one evening. Would most definitely stay here again!!

This place was a fantastic spot for me and my wife with our two dogs. The location was great to meet my family in West Columbia. The neighborhood was safe to walk the dogs and the inside of the home was clean and welcoming. We will absolutely be staying here again. The added dog treats were a big plus!!!

Convenient location, attractive place

Clean, well equipped kitchen, excellent bathrooms, ample hot water, comfortable bed. Parking is a bit tight and the lockpad was intermittently iffy but overall an excellent place to stay. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Great cottage!

Loved this adorable little cottage. The weather didn’t cooperate with my hiking plans but had a lovely day at the art museum and cozy reading at the cottage. Would definitely book this house again!
