The Blue Bungalow was clean, convenient, and just as we expected from the listing. Phillip has included some pet friendly items & treats to make sure your pups feel at home as well.
Very nice house but parking is not good supposed to be a shared driveway but wasn’t able to park on driveway at all neighbor took whole driveway some night no place at all to park but everything else was very nice
I homeschool my son and the program I use is based in Columbia so we had to travel to town for his graduation. From the minute we booked Phillip was friendly and responsive. The house was clean, cozy and very comfortable. The check in and check out process was seamless and Phillip was more than accommodating and welcoming to us. The street was very quiet and we felt very welcomed and safe. Would DEFINITELY recommend!
This house is so cute and cozy!! It was perfect and we had plenty of space. The backyard was perfect for our dog as well. Would definitely stay here again if I am ever back in the area. Host was super accessible and made us feel like we could reach out if we needed anything, we didn’t have to though, everything was perfect!
This cozy home is in a nice neighborhood. The home is comfortable for a multi-day stay with your pup. The kitchen has anything you'd want for easy to cook meals during vacation. It was also a great location to areas of Columbia and to get out for a hike in Congaree. The owner was also exceptionally easy to interact with. We'd happily stay again if we were visiting the area!
Can’t say enough about how perfect Elmwood’s Blue Bungalow was! The house is adorable, clean, and very spacious! It’s pet friendly with a dog bed, toys, treats, and a small fenced in back yard. It’s 5 minutes from Vista, Five Points, and UofSC campus. We’ve stayed in multiple places in Cola, but this will always be our first choice go-to from now on.
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home with our pup! Philip was an amazing hosts The house is also situated in a charming neighborhood close to fun things to do in Columbia. My pup also loved his stay and enjoyed the treats, dog bed, and toys! We will definitely be back.
This was an amazing VRBO. The house is actually much larger that it appears when you first pull up. It has everything you could ever need. Felt like a home away from home. House is near the Township Auditorium. We booked a concert while in town. We would without hesitation book this location in the future. Thank you very much!
Clean, well equipped kitchen, excellent bathrooms, ample hot water, comfortable bed. Parking is a bit tight and the lockpad was intermittently iffy but overall an excellent place to stay. Nice quiet neighborhood.
Loved this adorable little cottage. The weather didn’t cooperate with my hiking plans but had a lovely day at the art museum and cozy reading at the cottage. Would definitely book this house again!
We loved our stay here! The house felt very spacious for our family of 6. It had the perfect combination of old charm and modern updates. We loved walking around the neighborhood and seeing so many Victorian homes. We would definitely stay here again!
This property was better than expected! The hosts were very pleasant and the amenities were great. I will definitely be booking again just to “get away”. Very nice.
Amazing Home. The Pictures did not show how beautiful this home was. was bigger then expected and so much more like home. Was a rough long trip down from Norther Wisconson was great that the place was nice and cooled off when we arrived. Would so Stay here again if I ever needed to go this far south.
We visited our daughter at college and had a fabulous stay in this home. The pictures are accurate and the house is spacious. The host is timely with his responses and was gracious with a change we had to make. I highly recommend this property.
I loved this VRBO. The location was wonderful. The home a a beautiful and stocked with everything we could need. We didn't bring pets but they would have been right at home, too
This precious house is an absolute gem! Perfectly clean, roomy, and amazing location. We were able to walk to dinner. Thank you for an incredible stay!
We had a great space for my son’s Army Bootcamp Graduation. The yard was perfect for our dogs. House was clean and had everything I needed to make spaghetti for 9 family members after graduation. Only 3 of the 9 stayed at the home but it had more than enough space for the 3 of us to be comfortable. Neighbors were friendly and the location was very nice.
I stayed here for two nights with my mom and my dog and we loved it! Great dog-friendly accommodations with toys, treats, leashes, and even dog shampoo, just in case you need something that you forgot at home! The backyard is small, but fenced in with ample room for a dog to get some energy out. Just use caution if your dog is an escape artist - the gate to one side has a gap that could be slipped under.
Human accommodations were also great, and the house is within walking distance of downtown Columbia. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would consider staying again if we're back in town.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Disappointed
Not clean. The bed sheets had obviously been slept in, the mattress pad was stained, bathroom floors were sticky and the showers were not completely cleaned. We notified the owner immediately the following morning that we would not be staying the remaining four nights of our stay due to the uncleanliness. He was very apologetic and offered to have the cleaning service come back, but stated he understood if we did not want to stay. He did provide a partial refund, but that did not adequately cover the inconvenience of having to find new accommodations for the remainder of our trip. The house has been nicely renovated, but the lack of attention to cleanliness was unacceptable.
