Welcome! We love that our home will provide you with a relaxing environment to enjoy your Family and Friends! Our home is located on 70 Acres approximately 6 miles to downtown Canton (Historic First Monday Trade Days). We are about 40 miles to Tyler, near 4 East Texas Lakes, Cannon Creek Vineyard, Yesterland Farm, Santa Land, Lake Fork Stables, Canton Grand Safari Adventure, Rocky Ridge Drive Through Safari, and Splash Kingdom. This home is Fully Furnished and has Central Heat & Air, Washer & Dryer, Large Covered Back Porch, Complete Kitchen (Appliances, Dishes, Pots & Pans, Cooking Utensils, Silverware, Plates, Glasses & Coffee Cups, & a few Kid Dishes too!) Coffee Maker, Bed Linens & Pillows (plus extras), Blankets, Towels & Washcloths, Toiletries, Hangers, Hair Dryers, Iron & Ironing Board, DVD Player (NO DVD's), Antenna TV, as well as some Games & Puzzles. All you will need to bring are your personal clothes and items you can't live without. No wifi here...…. This is country living. No big city HOA's or City ordinances governing what the neighborhood looks like in this area. Some people are very neat and tidy and other people.....not so much. Rest assured, Brasher Family Farm is in the very neat and tidy category! Most homes are separated by a bit of land in between. You will drive down 2 roads that are as we say "back roads". They are asphalt paved but sometimes they may need some work. Occasionally, there may be a wondering cow or deer crossing. You might also see ATV's or tractors driving these roads. Please, drive slow and be on the lookout. The Brasher Family Farm is our quiet home away from busy reality, our place to get back to the basics........Live, Laugh, and Love with family & friends!

Girls trip

Six ladies looking for a place convenient to Canton Trade Days, Edom and Mineola. Plenty of room for visiting and privacy from small hotel rooms. Thoroughly filled the bill.

Everything you need and then some

The house was perfect for our family trip to Canton Trade Days. The host thought of everything. She had paper plates, plastic cups, and plastic silverware. There was bug spray, citronella candles, food for the hummingbirds, bathroom spray, toothbrushes, coffee, and numerous other essentials. We felt very at home.

My name is Kristina Kay but only my mama calls me that when I’m in trouble! My friends know me as Kristi and I am your host along with my husband, David. Our current residence is in Rockwall. My husband and I acquired this property in 2014 with the desire of retiring here someday. We love it here so much, this home and land bring us such relaxation and peace. Both of us grew up not too far away and have family close by that we love to come and visit. Our lives have been blessed by the miracles of two beautiful daughters. However, they keep us super busy. The oldest plays select soccer, the violin in the school orchestra, and takes dance lessons, all while being a straight a student. She absolutely amazes me. The youngest takes two different styles of dance lessons, is in gymnastics, and is also a great student. With all of that, and my husband and I having full-time jobs, we do not spend as much time here as we would like. That is how we came up with the idea of sharing our peaceful space with the rest of the world. It brings us great pleasure to be able to host our guests and give them the opportunity to truly relax and enjoy life, family, and friends! We hope you experience the same joyful escape from reality that we do during your stay.

What makes this property unique

The back porch is probably my favorite spot and seems to be my guests also. It's a great spot for morning coffee or tea. It's a wonderful space for bird & deer watching (during season). It's perfect for night talking and laughter! It's big enough for small gatherings of friends and/or family!
