This was our second year staying here. As last year, it was fantastic. We had 12 people in our party and there was plenty of room for all of us. The host was very responsive. The attention to detail was fantastic and there were so many extra perks. It certainly earned its name “Posh Pelican.” We are coming back next year. I have stayed in many rentals and this is the cleanest one I have seen!

The entire house was perfect - it was spotless and stocked with everything anyone could possibly need and more - never have we stayed in a house so well supplied - even with things we didn't even think of. We have stayed at VRBO's many times and this definitely was one of our top two. It was beautiful - the space was perfect for families who need separate sleeping spaces (we had 8 adults) but the common areas were amazing. The game room was unreal and met needs from toddlers to adults. We had a family reunion but hated to leave the property. The location was perfect as our reunion was at Breezy Point (you could walk there). We grilled and enjoyed the backyard - very private and comfortable and room to sit outside for all of us. Also, we have never before been invited to check in EARLY at a VRBO and Kerry called the day before and told us we could check in 4 hours before our scheduled arrival time. I told my adult children that Kerry was my new best friend - we communicated back and forth a number of times BUT NOT ABOUT ANY PROBLEMS JUST SHARING HOW MUCH WE LOVED THE PROPERTY. The space is very open and welcoming including a personal message, great chocolate and coffee. WE DEFINITELY WILL STAY THERE AGAIN. It truly is a WONDERFUL property and the hosts are kind and amazing.

From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was special. It’s truly one of the most beautiful homes I’ve ever stayed in. The host was such an incredible host, and walking into the home felt like walking into a magazine — everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and so thoughtfully put together. It was also incredibly spacious and worked perfectly for our group of nine girls plus a baby.We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend, and it couldn’t have been a better fit. There were so many great spaces to hang out and celebrate, the beds were amazingly comfortable, and the game room was such a fun bonus. We also loved the kitchen, which was perfect for bringing in a private chef one night, and the patio was such a great place to relax in the evenings. What made this stay even more memorable were all the personal touches the host added. The signs, local coffee and candies, and sweet little flowers throughout the home made us feel so welcomed and cared for. You can tell she puts so much heart into hosting. We were genuinely so impressed and would absolutely love to come back.

Thank you so much for choosing our Posh Pelican House for your bachelorette weekend! We loved hosting you! It was so fun communicating prior to your arrival so I could learn the bride's colors so I could incorporate her wedding vision into our home. Y'all were so respectful and left the property in great shape! We hope another person from this group gets engaged and everyone comes back next summer or sooner!

Best host we’ve ever had- exceeded our expectations with little surprises and a well-equipped house that was comfortable from beds to couches and everything in between. Many nice touches, spacious, modern, very clean, great location to biking, water sports, and excellent golfing options. They thought of everything, with a game room for added fun. Loved it!

We spent a week at The Posh Pelican with four households, 7 adults and 5 little ones (ages 16 months to 5 years), celebrating my wife's 60th birthday. It exceeded every expectation. The TVs playing scenic channels set a warm tone from the start, and the home was even more beautiful in person than the photos show. The floorplan worked perfectly for four households, with plenty of comfortable beds and privacy. Cleanliness and amenities were outstanding. With toys, games, and huge TVs in every room, we didn't need to bring anything for entertainment. Extra pantry supplies like pizza, chocolates, and coffee were a nice touch, and two full fridges made a real difference for the week. We also appreciated the high-end appliances. With young, occasionally messy kids around, the wipeable leather furniture in the living room and game room was perfect. The private, fenced backyard let kids play safely and gave adults a spot for a wood fire, with room for a blow-up pool, slip n slide, frisbee, and cornhole. Our family is very active, and while there weren't trails right outside the door, it was an easy drive to Pelican Lake beaches and Pequot Lakes for the Paul Bunyan Trail. Checkout was a breeze, no stripping beds or cleaning required. The host was highly responsive throughout, with kind, helpful notes around the home. The only thing missing was being right on the water. Otherwise, we wouldn't change a thing. Highly recommend!

Wonderful location for a family get together. The amenities were awesome. Loved all of the special touches. The extra amenities and attention to detail certainly did not go unnoticed. There were 12 of us and there was plenty of room for all of us to gather as well as separate places when we wanted.
Great outdoor amenities as well.

House was the perfect retreat for the weekend of a wedding. Plenty of room to spread out and relax. Every detail was thought of to make our stay a home away from home. Best VRBO!

Couldn’t imagine a VRBO/ weekend rental could be any better than the posh pelican house! Rented this for a weekend golf outing, and it hit every need we could ever imagine out of the park! House is beautiful and really clean, beds were amazing and comfortable! Garage is set up to entertain, arcade game and yard games ready to be used! Rented a couple places and nothing has been as nice as this! Owners really went out of their way to make the weekend go smoothly! Definitely will be renting this unit or there other properties again! 20 out of 10!

This house is absolutely beautiful, as well as the furnishings and decor. The game room and patio/yard were added bonuses to an already perfect place. There was so much room for all of us to spread out. Check in was smooth and easy, and all communication with the owner was equally as easy. She was very responsive to any texts. They even left us a gift box of snacks and drinks upon our arrival. The location was also perfect as we used the Breezy Point Marina, White Birch Golf, and Paul Thiede park for hiking and fire tower climb. All were just minutes away. I would definitely recommend this place for any group or family getaway.
