Great beach house- perfect for a couple

The place was great! It was clean, well appointed and 20 yards from the sand. We really liked being able to see the beach from the Adirondack chairs on the back patio. We would definitely come back.Unfortunately you aren’t supposed to have a beach campfire.

Jeep beach clean up event

Thank you for the wonderful stay while we attended the jeep beach cleanup event at oyhut resort. Our family enjoyed the beach and putting our shark puzzle together. It felt like a home away from home.Thank you

Exceeded All Expectations

Ive been going to Ocean Shores most of my life. This was the best place to stay out of all our adventures. This home is right on the beach. Cute, modern, clean, just right for a quiet getaway. Loved every minute. Sad to leave. I hope we will come back soon.

We have been going to this property on and off for over 20 years. This experience was NOT what we expected. The home was as remembered but the surrounding area was not. WE were not able to freely walk Agate Beach from the home. There were NO TRESPASSING- PRIVATE PROPERTY signs all up and down the beach. There were KEEP OUT! signs put up by a pesky neighbor 2 doors down. She had her dog trained to bark when someone went on her walkway which was the beach. Oh my! She let a young family with kids know they could not go on her section of the sand going clear out to the water-however that was the only way to get to their rental. My husband was yelled at by her when he was at the watermark. She claimed her property went all the way into the water. Basically you could walk the width of the rental and that was it. Then you had to drive to a public access which was only about 50 feet and - again- NO TRESPASSING PRIVATE PROPERTY signs. I do not know when this happened but sad, sad. We went to get a peaceful vacation, and that is how we were welcomed to our lovely beach home. No beach walks without fear of reprisal.

Pamala, We are very sorry to hear about your disappoint about the beach access . Unfortunately with all the repair work from the state to get the burm stabilized from the king tide damage last year. The no trespassing signs are put up because of people walking thru and not understanding what is going on. This all should be corrected as soon as it is repaired. Rick
