We enjoyed our time, however the house was completely dirty upon arrival and had not been cleaned after its previous stay. The host was prompt to respond & came the first night to clean bedding, take out trash, wash towels/sheets, etc. However it added stress to our first evening of the weekend. The online listing also says there’s a hot tub, but it is referencing an indoor Jacuzzi bathtub that fits 2 people. There is no hot tub.

Great house in a great location.

Located near shopping and restaurants. Next door to Hen Dough restaurant which is great for breakfast. Keurig and a coffee pot. Nice and clean.

This home is roomy and comfortable for a large family. The location is very convenient to downtown, and local stores. The homeowner was quick to respond. Easy entry and exit.

Great Place to Stay

My family, my sister, and her family all came to Hendersonville for my nieces wedding and stayed at this house. The place was huge and accommodated all 7 of us with room to spare. The place was clean and well maintained. The host was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. The location was centrally located and had a chicken and donut restaurant next door that was great! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others!

Convenient to everything

I was very happy about the location. Sharing a parking lot with Hendough was great! There was ample room for my sewing machine, cutting, board, ironing board, etc. I am a quilter and had my own private "quilt retreat".

Good for a Cycling Getaway

We used the house as a home base even though we were out riding all day. We weren't looking for luxury and everything worked as we needed it. Plenty of hot water. Nice to have the donut and custard shops next door.

Best place to stay in Hendersonville

I spent a full week in this lovely house with my daughter and three grandchildren. It was perfect for our family--everything we needed and about an .8 mile to all the wonderful places to visit and dine in Hendersonville. We arrived early and the host let us put our luggage and food in the house while it was being cleaned so that we could begin our adventuring right away. Several times he brought things over to the house and was always quick to reply to our requests. It was plenty big enough for all of us to have our own space and also to get together for our meals and visiting time. You can't go wrong staying here!!

Our Experience

Checked in at 5pm, after attending a family funeral. Beds upstairs soiled, only one washcloth, housekeeper finished at 8pm. House was spacious and convenient. I think compensation is expected from the owner

John was an excellent host. We had a problem with the downstairs heating. He was in the unit upon arrival replacing the thermostat. That prove not to be the problem. He had the fireplace on already. When he was unable to fix the heating he provided space heaters to get us through the night. Next morning the heating/AC technician came out and repaired the furnace. This was a great feat to pull off since we arrived on Black Friday. John was quick to respond and provided updates.We are planning to visit again soon.
