This 3 bedroom home with a guest cottage (4 BR House!!) is on a large corner lot in the desirable Vanderhorst Plantation. Custom landscaping and architecture make this the ultimate island destination.

Featuring custom built-ins, 10 foot ceilings, oak flooring, and walls of windows, the living room is certain to be the central gathering place for friends and family. This space opens onto the covered deck and screened porch overlooking the pool. The gourmet kitchen is beautifully appointed with granite countertops, oak cabinetry, glass tile backsplash, and large island. Professional Series GE appliances, including a side-by-side cabinet front refrigerator, warming drawer, and Dacor gas cooktop, are sure to inspire a delightful creation.

The king master suite, located on the first floor has access the large deck. The adjoining master bathroom offers his and her Carrara marble sinks, an separate dressing vanity, large soaking tub, and walk-in glass shower. This room is sure to pamper and rejuvenate.
There are two additional bedrooms upstairs. One guest bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has one set of bunk beds, and one queen bed, perfect for the extended family. This level also includes a den and laundry room. Accessible from the back porch is the cozy guest cottage with a queen bed, TV, sitting area, and en-suite bathroom.

The highlight of your vacation will be time spent outdoors. The large private pool with hot tub and deck were designed for enjoyment with space to cook-out, sunbathe, and dine. Ten miles of white sandy beaches are only a short bike ride away. World class golf courses and tennis centers are nearby, as well as a multitude of water sports and fishing.

The beauty of Kiawah Island and quality time with family and friends are easily appreciated in this island retreat!

Great Week!

This house was perfect for our stay! They have pretty much everything you could imagine or want on a vacation! We brought most of what we would want on a vacation and they had everything that we brought! No one wanted to leave! we would definitely rent this property again if we return to the Island!

Great week at Kiawah

We had a great week in this house, despite some iffy weather. We were 7 adults and the house worked perfectly for us. We had plenty of room, the kitchen is well-equipped and the pool/hot tub was fun to have. We were only a mile from the beach, an easy bike ride. Highly recommend this house.

Nice house in Kiawah Island

Great house but kitchen is ill equipped - not enough to be inadequate but poor blender for example. Also for a house with 4 bedrooms there were only 3 rusted lounge chairs by the pool. We found ourselves watching for when one became available. This was significant as we had a lot of pool time because of young kids. We would rent again but they need more lounge chairs.

Amazing house!!!!

The house was fantastic, awesome floorplan, amazing amenities, the pool and hot tub were excellent, house location was excellent. The only tiny little problem was there was a bowl full of cigarette butts on the screened porch and dirty dishes in the dishwasher, should not be viewed as a negative on the house…likely just the cleaning crew missed it as I’m sure they’re slammed busy right now. If you’re looking for a large house to accommodate a big group, I highly recommend this one!!!

Just what we needed!

Our family of 6 adults, a 4-1/2 and 2-1/2 year old had a marvelous time in this lovely, welcoming, comfortable home. It has everything you need, and more. The pool and hot tub were greatly appreciated and used--the little ones became so much more comfortable in the water and truly gained swimming skills. It was great fun to prepare and share meals there. The decor is so well thought out and inviting. We had great communications with the property management team and they were so responsive to questions as they arose. A gold star top billing from all of us!

Beautiful home with fabulous pool

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in 222 Fish Hawk. The home is beautiful, well maintained, and clean. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking for a large family. Our favorite area of the home was the outdoor space. It has a great screen porch for eating or relaxing, and the pool is large with ample space for sunbathing or sitting under an umbrella. Sweetgrass was easy to work with, and we would love to rent this home or another one of their properties again.

Kiawah Marathon Weekend

The property was exactly as described. Spacious for our group. We enjoyed it immensely! Had some struggles with keys/locked doors on day one but all was resolved in the end.

222 Fish Hawk

The cost is high for 4 bedrooms that far from the ocean but the pool was nice and helped offset the price. There was no electricity in one bedroom but we found the electrical circuit breaker tripped. The porch light would not turn off unless it was placed in a mid position. The house was well equipped and maintained otherwise.

Beautiful and Welcoming

The property was just as described and MORE. The set-up was perfect for our family- We had one family with an adult child upstairs- with their own sitting area; a newlywed couple in the separate living quarters over the garage; my husband and I had the master. We enjoyed the screened-in backporch every morning and evening. The home was spacious and clean. We would rent this home again! Thanks for a great vacation spot!

I loved this property because it was important to family members that we all had private and shared space. The beach was a short bike ride away. It was great to also have a pool and hot tub--even a little grassy area for Frisbee!

Just what we hoped for

I chose this home hoping to please 10 other ladies on our 9th annual Kiawah marathon girls trip. We required a luxurious home and a hot tub. We weren't disappointed it's a beautiful home, very big and expansive, with wide stairs, wide hallways, coffered , high ceilings, comfy furniture, lots of marble. The guest house was a nice touch to give privacy. The master bathroom was great , with the really nice shower. Of course, the hot tub was the most important thing. It was great, and when we couldn't get the bubbles to work, the after hours number was answered promptly, and a repairman came out within about 30 minutes to make everything wonderful. I really appreciate that kind of service and will keep that in mind when I make reservations next year.

This property is perfect! Well appointed, great amenities, nicely decorated, large pool with hottub. The home has a nice layout , and accomodated 3 families (12 people) extremely well. It is an easy bikeride to the beach- we rented bike trailers which helped us transport items necessary for the beach. We have been coming to Kiawah for over 20 years, and this home is one of the nicest that we have stayed in. We were very pleased with our choice. Absolutely beautiful!
