San Juan Apt near the beach

The apartment was clean and well appointed, close to beach and restaurants. We were able to find parking on the street. The neighborhood was a little bit sketchy, but we had no problems.

Toilet was filthy black and had no running water. Had to walk to nearby farmacy to get gallons of water to try to flush the nasty toilet. Stairs hallway light was not working at night. Had a difficult time to see the small padlocks to get in the property. Not to mention the terrible noise throughout the night. Definitely did not sleep at all.

I was unable to stay at the property because the host was not accepting my calls and didn’t share instructions for access until hours after check-in time. I had to contact Vrbo representative, who also tried to contact host without success.

Our stay was great. Host is very communicative. Space was clean, AC worked well. Walk to the beach, restaurants, coffee etc was not bad at all. The space worked for 3 people, not sure how well 5 would fit. We did run out of water randomly but that was a city wide issue. We adjusted. I'd stay here again and hopefully will return to PR again in the future. It's a beautiful place.
