Cool Forest Home ~ 15 minutes from town

Welcome to the 3rd oldest home in Montana! We are a small family owned and run business, providing clean & comfortable lodging for individuals & families for over 15 years! We were on Flathead Lake for 15 years, still have a place in Hot Springs Montana & are now super excited to be opening our home to you in Missoula Montana, a vibrant city hub, a perfect spot for your Montana explorations!
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, only 15 minutes from downtown.

The space
Come relax & settle into my comfortable and unique forest home, I am the 3rd oldest Airbnb'er in Montana.
We are STILL in a renovation mode so I don't have too many interior pics posted yet. My kitchen is getting an entire face lift with new windows, cabinets, granite countertops & new flooring.
The bed rooms are getting new windows as well. The master bath is just about done with a new glass & marble walk in shower, new windows, one in the shower for a for a private forest view while showering, new cabinets countertop, sink and fixtures! Wow!
All new solid wood interior doors throughout, new hardwood flooring and new carpets to boot!
Our beds are new Tuft & Needle, a totally made in the USA and natural bed, we LOVE them. Great linens and towels have been one of my trademarks for 16 years of hosting guests. Clean bathrobes & slippers too.
Our back patio area is also new, with a super large gaveled space for hanging out, BBQing, hot tubbing and enjoying your morning joe watching the hummingbirds feed.

Our 3.5 ares are open for your use. We have plenty of parking, a great stop off if you're headed to the lake with your boat or RV.
The entire upstairs of our home is open for your use, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The laundry area is downstairs and you are welcome to use it during your stay, just not the bed down there :). The garage is where your garbage cans are.
Other things to note
We have a VERY deep window well in our outside patio area. Therefore small children and intoxicated adults are not encouraged.

This is NOT a party house, no local renters. If you are planning a party, this is not the house to rent, please look elsewhere. No exceptions . You will be asked to leave, no refund.

We ask that you leave your street shoes at the door. Sole treads pick up and hold gravel. We have brand new hardwood floors. You will be responsible for not scratching them up. Flip flops are ok. We provide slippers.


This is Montana, although we are only 7 minutes to town/15 minutes to downtown, wild animals such as bears, chipmunks, birds, squirrels and the like are around. Keep your trash secure. There are several cans in the garage for your use.

Our house is generally cool, which in our warm summer months is really nice. In the early morning, I open doors and windows and by noonish they are closed. It stays very comfortable. In any event, we do have central air conditioning if you really need it. Our home is great respite from the city heat

We are a 100% shoe free home. Gravel outside sticks to shoes, we have brand new hardwood floors and new carpets. NO hiking shoes or street shoes allowed. Flip flops allowed .
Bring your slippers & flip flops...you'll be relaxing anyway! :) We also provide clean new slippers for our guests.

NO PETS EVER. I live here part time and am extremely allergic.

There is a set of House Rules & Missoula attractions at the house.

HOT TUB: PLEASE shower before using the tub, clothes optional. Soaps and dyes in clothing are terrible for our spa. NO street clothes or cut offs allowed.
The spa is not a play area, no jumping, toys or glass please.
The spa is drained, cleaned and sanitized between every guest stay, please follow the directions we leave for you and call if you have any questions, thanks!
I will show registered guest how to sanitize after each use upon arrival.

GARBAGE: We live in Montana, bear country. DO NOT leave food outside overnight. Do not leave garbage outside ever. We have garbage cans for you in the garage, please put your bagged garbage in there. No loose garbage in cans please & thank you!!

SMOKING: Cigarettes, cigars, vapers & 420: OUTSIDE ONLY PLEASE & THANK YOU. NO butts on the ground EVER. We live in the forest and are VERY concerned of fire danger.
Outdoor fires are not allowed by law.

We do not do dishes, your mother doesn't live here. But we don't mind unloading the dishwasher after you leave.

We have some very dangerous areas around the house, small children are not encouraged.

.There is no public transit. Airport shuttles can be arranged beforehand for $40.

6 guests MAX.

During the summer months someone may be around OUTSIDE ONLY to attend to the gardens & lawns & check on the spa.

Our LAUNDRY, a new Electrolux washer & dryer, are downstairs. You are welcome to use them but not the space in general, maybe next year :). No sleeping in the bed down there, thanks.
