About this property
Charming Tiny House on 10 Wooded Acres
Experience idyllic living at our tranquil getaway nestled in the Green Mountains of Vermont. Our Tiny House features two lofts, a modern kitchen with all amenities, a TV, shower, wifi, and central AC/heat.
Although we are new to VRBO, we have been hosting guests for well over a year and have attained SuperHost status at the other short-term rental site. Our feedback is consistently 5 stars.
Our Tiny Home is located on our 10-acre wooded property adjacent to our home. We are located in a very rural area where the only sound at night is the occasional hooting owl. Guests are welcome to enjoy a brisk hike up our backyard mountain and don’t be surprised if you come across deer, wild turkeys, and a variety of local wildlife.
The house is equipped with a 4 burner stove, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and flat screen television.
If you are a hiker and want to explore some of Vermont's trails, we are 5 minutes from the Long Trail and a short walk from some popular local trails. If you're a rock climber, the Notch Rd. Rock Faces are just around the corner.
Skiers will appreciate the location. We are 15 minutes from the lift at Bolton Valley and 35 minutes from Stowe, Smugglers Notch, Sugar Bush and Mad River Valley. If you’re a powder hound, it can snow for 2 days straight up here.
Groceries, dining, skiing, & hiking are all close by! Located just minutes from Richmond, Waterbury, 25 minutes to downtown Burlington, and just a short drive to world class skiing at Stowe, Sugarbush, Smuggler's Notch & Bolton Valley. Comfortably sleeps 3 adults.
If you're visiting in winter, please keep in mind we live in a rural area at an elevation that can receive a significant amount of snow. Although our driveway will be clear and sanded, all wheel drive or front wheel drive vehicles with snow tires are highly recommended. If you plan to ski during or right after it snows, you will want all wheel drive to make it to the resorts.
If you plan to arrive during a snow storm or are concerned about road conditions, please contact us prior to arrival for up to date road conditions. Also, we may reach out to you prior to your arrival if conditions warrant.
Although everyone is welcome, please be aware the sleeping areas are lofts and only accessible via a ladder similar to bunk beds. The lofts are not designed for small children as the safety rail does not extend the length of the bunk. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.
If you plan to arrive late or would like us to pick up a few groceries for the morning (or evening), just let us know. Local shopping closes at 7:30pm.
Our typical check out is 11:00am and check-in is 4:00pm. If you would like to arrive early, it's usually not a problem. We want to ensure the Tiny House is perfect for your arrival but if we have nobody checking out on your day of arrival, you're welcome to come as early as your want as long as you let us know ahead of time.
