Everything we needed was available. The house is very spacious inside great space to gather and play family games. Bedrooms were very large, great accommodations and well stocked bathroom with toiletries.
We loved the property. The sunroom/living area is beautiful with so many windows. Thank you to the host for your kindness.

Thank you for your lovely words, appreciated. But you rating score of 4.0 is one of the lowest. May I know what needs to be done to get to the 5 star level in your opinion? Appreciated.
I bookes this property over a year in advance in anticipation of my Daugter's wedding at the nearby Terrain Gardens. This was our choice for a few reasons, including dog friendliness but mostly due to the airy and bright living spaces. It did not disappoint! Beautiful memories made and captured in lovely lightning with nature backdrop. Thank you to our host Harry for his attentiveness and communication. HIGHLY recommend this clean, comfortable and charming property.

Beautiful setting in the woods. Great floor plan for a family gathering with kids
The place is dirty, baseboards, doors, bookcases, even the floors. My grandchildren’s feet got so dirty that we made them wear socks. Lastly, they told us we broke the steel frame of a bed. Even if my grandchildren were bouncing on the bed, they are 3 and 5, I don’t know how they could bend a steel frame. The outside of the house should have been power washed 10 years ago along with the garage etc. I was very disappointed because now that I have family there I need a place to stay. Signed: Very Disappointed
Absolutely loved staying there. We are originally from the area and moved away several years ago. We come in town to visit family a few times a year and usually stay in a hotel. This was so much better for us. We will look to stay here again.
Graduation weekend very special staying here with a mix of our family. Wonderful high ceiling and windows in the amazing large main room looking to lovely trees and gardens. A spacious house with a great kitchen and dining areas to gather and enjoy being together. Loved our stay!
Everything was clean and the whole process was easy. Harry was a great host and super accommodating. Property was close to everything. We’ll be staying there again
My 83 yr old mother wanted to visit her brother and best friend. This place was GREAT!
Waking up in the morning and sitting in the living area watching the squirrels, deer and the world waking up with a cup of coffee was awesome.
She was very comfortable and relaxed.
We stayed here for a few nights in late August while visiting Philadelphia for the first time. It was such a relief to escape the big, loud, impatient, and overwhelming city every evening and retreat to the quiet comfort of this place. Harry is a wonderful host.

Property is in good location for our needs. Lots of room and beds. My bed was hard as a rock and others had little support. We had to deal with many spiders and large ants. No central air conditioning. Each room had window units that would seem to randomly reset to a higher temperature which was especially a pain in the middle of the night waking up sweating. Also, kinda weird, but there were no beverage glasses available except coffee mugs. This place has great potential but needs upgrades.

Hi Tod, sorry for your experience with the house. But none of the mattress is rock hard, they are all medium firm except one soft mattress that we put on one of the beds intentionally just give guest a choice. We did find that the legs of one of the beds in the upstairs bedroom were broken after your staying, and we have replaced them. The house is in a rural setting and on one acre of wooded land, we try our best to prevent pests away from the house, but it may due to almost one week vacancy right before your stay that ants /spiders find their way in, we did exterminate the house and put ant killers around the house immediately after read your review. There should be a lot glass there including wine glasses, plastic glasses etc. Also, the thermostat is a smart thermostat that would return the temperature setting to a normal 68 degree setting when it senses no movement in the house and the settings was too low. We try our best to provide guest a five star staying experience, Your rating of 6/10 is the absolute lowest among all guests, and I feel sorry that for your experience, but appreciate you take your time to give us feedback so that we can improve our service. Thank you.
Lots of space, beautiful kitchen and very open windowed living room felt very special and relaxing.
the stairs between the TV/living room and the first floor are a little hard for people who have trouble walking up/down stairs. the double tables in the kitchen were very useful when local family came to visit.
this will be our choice next time we come to visit family - much better than a hotel for sure.
ps we are grateful we could bring our 9 year old dog. we had no mistakes and she lived the outside yard!
This was a last minute stay. I was one person with two dogs, so pet friendly! The yard is large and not fenced and there is plenty of space to park.
This was a house that would be great for a family or friends getting together. The AC were window units, so a little noisy. KItchen is large and modern. Living room with huge windows and skylights. The rest of the house is a little dated and could use some refreshing.
But amazing for the price!

The curb appeal was dirty and unkept. Front door difficult to open after unlocking. Terribly quality towels and no bath cloths. The windows were extremely dirty and many of the electric switches need attention. Doesn’t seem to have any care as far as stocking useful dishes yet plenty of pots and pans. Kitchen, living area and dining were good. I would not recommend to friends.

Nice Location
I believe that the outside photos are from when the property was list with realtor. The outside doesn’t appear to be maintained as well as it should be, there is a sitting area out back with table & chairs needed to be wiped down and space all cluttered with leaves. The restrooms were not as clean as I prefer ( I cleaned them myself prior to use).
The water output for both showers is very LOW flow (if you have thick or long hair - good luck getting the shampoo rinsed out) . Only one tea towel in kitchen and one pair of oven mitts that were filthy - these aren’t things I’d expect to have to supply myself, the kitchen is stocked with miss matched dishes, pots and pans (like they came from a yard sale…no pizza pan or cookie sheet). You could see that there were pet stains on carpet in the upstairs hallway and stains all over the living room carpet (this could’ve probably been remedied by a good professional carpet cleaning). Location was great - close to shopping plazas. Disappointed in the upkeep of property. The owner should have made sure that it was maintained better prior to a person staying (my reservation s were made back in June…)I’ve stayed at many VIRBO rentals and this one is at the bottom of my list. I could’ve stay at a motel for a lot less.
