Lovely villa in a great setting and location
The villa is lovely in a quiet location. The property was very clean with plenty of towels and a great layout of separate buildings around a central courtyard with swimming pool.The check in process was disappointing as the description leads you to believe the management office next to the villa manages it but they have nothing to do with it. We eventually managed to communicate with them to call the housekeeper to come to the villa. There was no information on Wi-Fi codes or guidance on local restaurants or supermarkets however the housekeeper informed us of these once they arrived. We did find an information pack a few days later in a pile of magazines under the coffee table. There were no sun loungers and the only keys given were to the main gate. However once I contacted the owner both the loungers and keys to each building were arranged. These should all be supplied as a basic standard to the villa hire.
The villa location in Kathu is ideal for getting about and is much quieter than Patong beach area. Taxis were very easy to arrange through the Bolt app. The golf clubhouse offers good food during the daytime and bars & few restaurants can be found within walking distance just outside the complex. Herriot the owner was very helpful, answered questions promptly & helped with arranging contacts for diving. I feel there should be someone who meets you at the villa on arrival to explain things, advise on the local area and at least provide a bottle of water. Overall very good
