Master bedroom suite. King size beds (1) Besides the high thread count sheets and pillow cases, the mattress with a cover is as comfortable as they come.,Twin sinks and walk in shower. Downstairs. Twin or Single Beds (2) These really are 3/4 beds from Tommy Bahama.. Very comfortable mattresses and high thread count sheet(Pac n. Play) Many a family have told me this worked very well for their baby or young toddler., Sleep Sofa (1) I know. You remember the iron bar poking you in the back. Well there is an iron bar but the mattress is extra thick so you'll sleep the night away. The high thread count sheets won't hurt either.

- near the sea880 yards away from my front door is the best beach in Key West, the Ft. Zachary Taylor State Park beach. There is an admission charge BUT I have a pass for your entire family as one of my amenities.
General
- Telephone
- Air conditioningIt's central air that works very well. Please don't put the temp too low so that the condenser freezes and you have NO AC. Low 7-0's will feel like 68 compared to outside. Please NO lower than 74.
- HeatingIf there's a 'cold' snap, the AC unit can be put on heat so your are comfortable
- Linens providedYou deserve the best so I hope the 800+ thread count linens reflect that fact
- Washing machineThis is a brand new full size front loader washer, not some little apartment unit. The dryer is extra hot to kill any germs that might want to stay around
- Clothes dryerNew full size front loading dryer so you can actually dry all your clothes at once at a very hot temperature for killing any microbes or germs.

- FridgeThere's an ice maker so you have the ice you need for margarita's and pina coladas.
- HobElectric. It works super well but I frankly miss the natural gas I have in my other home up north
- OvenElectric. I wish we had natural gas in Key West but it'd be hard to get gas pipes laid in the limestone and coral that make up the keys.
- MicrowaveIt's 1000 watts so you don't have to wait long for the popcorn to pop or the leftovers to be heated.
- Grill
- Coffee makerYou can make 12 cups at a time or go to the corner Coffee Queen and get a Cuban cafe con leche
- ToasterOf course you need toast, english muffin or a bagel in the morning.
- Blender
- Ice maker
- Lobster pot
- Pantry itemsYou shouldn't have to buy spices, salt, pepper, sugar, sweetener, mustard, mayonaise, olive oil and the like so you don't. I have these items stocked unless the previous guest cooked for a crowd.

Ask a questionAbout Jack Agnew
I'm a semi retired guy who was in the television and marketing/public relations industry and is now a professional character actor/singer on stage and I teach Marketing and Public Relations at a university in Boston, MA every Fall. My oldest daughter was married here in Key West and it's a special place for me as I hope it will be for you.
Jack Agnew purchased this cottage in 2005
Why Jack Agnew chose Truman Annex
I always had TAE (Truman Annex envy) when my two daughters and I were visitors and renters in Key West. I vowed I'd live here one day and when I sold my public relations firm in 1999, I bought a small two bedroom, one bath condo and five years later this much larger two bedroom, two bathroom cottage. I am in Key West at least six months a year and rent out my home when I am not in town.
What makes this cottage unique
A Touch of Bermuda in Key West is my 'friend with benefits' as everything I want to see or do is within walking or biking distance. You have a pass to the nearby Ft. Zach beach and Alexa to give you the temperature and restaurant suggestions. One couldn't ask for more.
