This is by far the best VRBO I have ever stayed at! The space was even more accommodating than what we originally thought it would be as far as spaciousness, but the amenities and the little things they do and have available is beyond imaginable. The communication is great. The price was great. We will be back anytime we are in Ottawa!Never felt more at home!

Beautiful historical property with updates to make it totally enjoyable and relaxing. The host was amazing and even brought farm fresh eggs. I just couldn't have asked for anything more. It was a great family time with the grandkids. I'll be back!

What a gem in Ottawa! Everything was spotless, decor was so lovely and it was such a treat to stay here. So many extras - plenty of coffee, creamer, snacks (which was so thoughtful and fun, especially for the kids), toiletries if you forgot things. Stocked kitchen with everything you need and tons of spices. Beds super comfortable and cozy tv/library room. We had coffee on the deck every morning in rocking chairs and had a 5 minute walk into town. Kania was a perfect host and very quick in all the communications. So happy we found this home and can’t wait to stay again next time we come to Kansas to visit family!

Best VRBO yet!

We have been VRBO believers for years. This was the nicest one we have stayed in. The home was beautiful and the host thought of everything. We gave it 5 stars but would give it 10 if we could!

Adorable Home

The house and host are amazing. It exceed our expectations. The accommodations were great and the host go above and beyond to welcome you! We were in the area for a family reunion and just wish we had more time to spend at the house! We will be back!

Top choice!!! Awesome, very clean, equipped with everything we needed

We had a great stay at this property with our grandkids in Ottawa KS. There’s a lot of dining options and they have a nice historic downtown area. The house was very nicely restored but still had that original turn of the century feel. We spent a lot of time on the deck, grilling and chilling and checking out the greater KC area which is a 30-40 minute drive. Kania is an excellent host, very responsive and planned everything perfectly for our stay.

It was the little things!

The home was beautifully decorated! But the small details!! Makeup cloths, robes, snacks….. the list just goes on!! It is the best I’ve ever stayed in!!

We absolutely loved staying at this 1910 historic house. It has been updated in the most lovely way. It was very comfortable for our family of 5. The owner has put an amazing amount of thoughtfulness into all of the details. It was well-stocked with coffee, games, toiletries, and really, anything you can think of. Communication with Kania was very prompt. I don’t know why anyone would stay at a hotel, when they can stay here. It was a great value, and we will definitely stay here the next time we come into town.

Great with an early hiccup

This property was great. The home was exactly as described, there was a personalized message upon arrival and there were all of the amenities that could be wanted (coffee, towels, snacks, ice, etc, etc). The one hiccup was the check-in process. It took a while to get the code when that is typically given directly in the check-in message. However once that was received the rest of the trip was wonderful!
