Our day was very pleasant. The home is beautiful on a beautiful lake. Access to the dock was very nice. Public boat access to load and unload our boat is extremely close to the rental. The owners allowed us to enjoy a late check out without any additional charges. Would recommend and stay here again.
The host was very responsive when we had questions! Beautiful home and loved seeing the bears! We had a great time and the week flew by! Definitely would book again!
Loved the large family room upstairs for playing games. Didn't find the 2 murphy beds (2)- there were recliners in sectional which didn't make for great sleep.4 of the 10 dining chairs need to be replaced as all the legs were unsteady but we had enough seating by using the litchen stools also.
House was very clean, furnished well, and had enough space four large group. Good fishing from the dock and kayaking on the lake was a blast. There are a lot of steps down to the dock but it’s manageable and worth it.
We had a great time at Bear Paw Cabin. It was large enough for our group and the sleeping arrangements were very easy to figure out with so much space. The neighboring cabin is a little closer than expected so there was some worry we were being disruptive when just sitting and talking by the fire pit. Overall though we all had a very good time and I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in the area.
Our girls weekend was just perfect at the cabin! The check in process was easy and the house was ready for us when we arrived. The property was just as beautiful as the online photos. We stayed in winter so we were not able to enjoy the fire pit of water activities. We enjoyed some fantastic local food and drinks in the area. Cozy place to relax and have fun. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for staying with us! We hope you come back again!
We had a great stay at this beautiful, brand-new cabin! The upstairs area was especially roomy and perfect for both sleeping and hanging out. The outdoor space was a big plus—plenty of open area for lawn games and enjoying the quiet, scenic lake. The setting is peaceful and ideal for a relaxing getaway. There were a few things that could be improved. The kitchen had very limited counter and cabinet space, which made meal prep a bit challenging for a larger group. The main floor felt like it had a lot of unused space that could’ve been put to better use. The water did have a high iron content, which is pretty typical for the area, but still something to note. We also found ourselves wishing there were more towels available for larger parties and more outdoor seating would’ve made it easier to enjoy the beautiful setting.Overall, a very comfortable and relaxing stay
The cabin was great, we had a fun weekend! Cabin size for our family of 5 was perfect. Things we loved:-the room sizes and comfortable beds.-the cabin woodsy feel, no noisy neighbors besides the coyotes-plenty of bathrooms/showers-clean linens & towels and clean rooms, overall clean cabin! -Host communication was fine! We didn't really need anything. Although I realized after we arrived that I only booked for 2 adults bc I was initially looking at cabin availability and prices. I should have gone back and made a correction to add 3 kids. 19, 10 & 5. Things that could be improved:-Asian beetles everywhere-broken door lock even though we were very cautious & gentle using the door-chinsy pizza cutter, we tried so hard not to break it lol & no pizza pan-dead birds next to house bc of window strikes :(awesome huge windows but maybe consider decals for wildlife safety)Great stay, we could recommend to others and would definitely stay again! :)

Beautiful cabin!
We traveled here from ND to have a bachelorette get together for my niece. The property was beautiful and the cabin stunning, gorgeous, spacious, modern and neat. A few downfalls: the neighbors are very close, and quiet hour started at 9 pm on the weekend! The bear claw fire pit was so unique! But we were scared of disturbing the neighbors so felt like we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we could have. The lake access was 85 steps to the dock!! We had all ages (even over 60) so not everyone could make that trip down to the water. And there were no bedrooms on the main level, making it slightly more difficult for some to get to their beds. Spider webs were abundant outside as well. Overall, beautiful, comfortable and our host was great. I would stay here again if being on the water wasn't a priority, and you are able to maneuver the stairs well. Thank you!

Hello, thank you for your review. We appreciate the feedback. Just a comment on the quiet hours. It is an ordinance from the town for all rental properties. Our town tried to push out vacation rental type properties, and that was the compromise. Also, the spider webs with nature near the cabin is something we have tried to handle, we spray the outside for spiders, and unfortunately, with trees and the lake, it is not something that dissappear forever. We appreciate your feedback and are glad you had fun at your stay. We are very sorry those points impacted your stay to keep you from a 5-star experience.
