Overall the stay in the cabin was good. It was really cute and clean. Good for a family of 3. But I have 2 small complaints. The level of the bed was lower on the headboard side compared to the end so we had to sleep turning completely around. And also the bedroom window needs curtains because of the gas station lights close by makes it very bright in the room.

Cute cabin but BEWARE
When we arrived in town we checked in and then went to get groceries. Once we got to the cabin we were shocked to find out that the road in front was being worked on. There was a STEEP temporary slope to reach the parking spot in front of the cabin and you can’t drive up it unless you have a higher clearance vehicle like a truck or jeep. We had to park across the street and carry our luggage and groceries back to the cabin and up the sloped hill. Check to make sure construction is finished before you book! Property management did not care. Other than that, the cabin was cute and the bed was comfortable. Seating wasn’t uncomfortable in the living area and the overhead light has a short in it. It would rarely come on and when it did, it would randomly go off.
Overall, the property is pretty accurately described online. One of the difficulties we had was that upon arrival the cabin had been closed up for at least an overnight and was extremely warm. It does not cool off very quickly because the only windows that open are all on the same side of the house, so it’s not possible to get any kind of a breeze or draft. The bed is comfortable. The shower is nice. The dining area leaves something to be desired. There’s no drawer space for clothes. The cabin is compact. The view from the porch is of a very busy 4-wheeler rental center which is located directly across the street from the cabin, but if you look up, the view is wonderful! Our main challenge came as a surprise to the management as well as to us, and that is there was major road construction the whole time we were there. It ultimately led to us having to abruptly leave a day early because we would not have been able to get out of the parking area when we were supposed to check out. The management worked with us and refunded that final night’s rent. The good news for future renters is that the road in front of Little Deuce Coupe will be newly paved!
