The location for this property is perfect! It’s directly across the street from the park and Lifts West, right in the center of town. It was clean and comfortable with a well appointed kitchen and even a welcome bag with coffee and snacks! There are only two things I would suggest to change, one for comfort and one for safety. Comfort- the mattress cover in one bedroom is a plastic one that is not well fitted for the bed. It’s really uncomfortable! That is an easy fix! Safety— there needs to be adequate lighting on the stairwell. It was completely dark when we had to leave early in the morning for the airport. Walking down those stairs with a suitcase in the pitch black is really unsafe.

We appreciate you flagging the two issues. We do have a new mattress protector for the master bedroom that we'll put on before the next guests arrive, and we'll take a look at the lighting for the exterior stairs to see what we can do to make that area brighter.

The condo was everything we had hoped for. Very accommodating, beds were comfortable and plenty of room for 4 of us. The location was perfect to enjoy the town of Red River. Could not have asked for a better place to stay.

Relaxing stay

We had a wonderful stay at this lodge. They provided so many little things that most hosts don’t. Perfect space for four people, easy checking in and out and was within walking distance to everything. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kitchen did feel a little small but very equipped!

Awesome location!

Bear Pause Lodge is within walking distance to everything in Red River! The property was clean, perfect size for a small family. Mr. Jimmy was awesome in accommodating us arriving early! Just an all around great place!

The place was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I emailed the host Jimmy with a question when we booked the townhome and he responded back promptly. I called him when we got in town with a few questions and he was very polite. I real nice gentleman. I loved the decor of the house. It was a really nice place. We would go back again.

Quite Lovely!

This property was great for my family to do activities in Red River and still be close for the kids to catch a nap or relax a bit. The kitchen was better stocked than most homes, no MacGyvering stuff to make a meal, and the washer and dryer were invaluable. It was super quiet and walking distance to everything. We will be back!

Week in the mountains
