Thank you for your review. We offer a rustic cabin in the woods, and yes, it has well water. Well water can take some getting used to for some.
**The quality of the water has been tested, and it has no contamination and was cleared for drinking, cooking, and bathing. What people smell is sulfur. Black water from your kitchen or bathroom fixtures, it can be due to hydrogen sulfide and running water for a minute through them will clear it out.
Quiet, peaceful and beautiful area. The cabin was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed! It was close enough to stores to get the few things we forgot. Our pup enjoyed exploring the wooded yard and area surrounding. Mornings on the deck were perfect. Everything was exceptional and the ice cream in the freezer was a sweet bonus! We can't wait to come stay there again
Quit and very relaxing, place was great. Host had everything you could ask for. Wonderful 4th week, easy to get to and privet. Can't wait for next year.

We had a great time at the cabin! We attended Chris Stapleton and Red Hot Chili Peppers at Darien Lake during our stay. Easy back road access that avoids the Thruway is what we needed! Thank you!
Very nice Log-home overlooking the creek. The house was well equipped and secluded. Perfect place to getaway for the long weekend and just relax. Highly recommend and the Host was amazing.
Quaint little private rustic cabin in a quiet peaceful setting. It's perfect for the "camping in the woods" experience, while still having all of the comforts of home- and being affordable. The host was very responsive & provided some great recommendations for us, & we always appreciate a host that allows dogs! We took a nice drive to Letchworth State Park to view the Dam & the waterfalls, and we weren't disappointed. There are a few other things to do w/in about an hours drive, so we'll probably be back.again. Definitely recommend!
We stayed for a weekend during a softball tournament and couldn’t have asked for a better place. The cabin was peaceful, cozy, and had everything we needed to unwind. Your hospitality and all the little touches—like the ice cream for the kids and a perfect setup for movie night—made it extra special. This will definitely be our go-to spot for Darien Lake softball weekends. Thank you for making us feel right at home!

We'll be here for you hopefully with improvements! So glad you enjoyed your stay.
We absolutely loved our stay! The property was super clean. It exceeded my expectations because there were so many homey and thoughtful touches...the host even left us ice cream as a treat! Great collection of organized dvd's and board games, and incredible views. Host was extremely communicative, easy going, and accommodating. Beds were comfy and lots of cozy linens (blankets/towels/etc.) were available. Location is extremely private. This cabin was so adorable, a perfect weekend getaway, and close to Niagara Falls and Buffalo NY. We cannot recommend this place enough!

We loved staying here! It’s just outside of town but you feel like you’re away from everything. It was so peaceful and we loved sitting on the porch enjoying the surroundings. The host was very easy to communicate with and the cabin had everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. There is a gravel road leading to the cabin but do not let that worry you. As long as you go slow it is fine. We definitely hope to stay here again next year. We highly recommend this cabin if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway.

Thank you for your kind recommendation. Your welcome anytime!
This cabin was located in a beatiful woodsy area with lots of critters to find. Not many trails to walk but the road its on is secluded enough for a short hike with little to no worry about cars. There is a sulfur smell coming from the water which is very normal for well water but was a bit jarring at first. Wthere also was not a fire pit set up which was a little dissapointing but did not effect our stay all too much. Highly recommend this place as it is close to shopping but still secluded enough to get in touch with nature.

We needed a place to lay our heads near Niagara Falls, and this cabin provided that being just an hour away from Niagara! We were able to enjoy the small towns we were surrounded by while also adventuring out to see the beauty of the falls and great lakes! Plenty of hiking to do too! We wish six flags season started a little sooner because we would have loved to spend an evening there too! But we were happy to get the chance to see the eclipse from the owner of the cabins, maple farm! They showed us around, taught us about Maple, and let us hang around fr the event! Great and friendly people! The only problem my family had with the cabin was the sulfur smell from the water. But it's a cabin and it has working water and heat so it was everything we needed! Plenty of room for my whole family to sit around the living room and play a few games and make a few puzzles before bed! We really enjoyed walking into the cabin having a few little sweet treats left out for us!

Thank you for your review. It was a lot of fun getting to know you a little at the eclipse party. Thank you for leaving the cabin so neat. Al & Amy
Cabin was very relaxing and peaceful. Had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Small gestures like ice cream, coffee, popcorn, and xtra toiletries were much appreciated. Highly recommend if you are looking for some solitude. Coffee on the porch in the morning listening to the birds was great. Close to Darian Lake and several casinos. Other than a rainy Saturday everything was perfect!! Thank you

About the host
Hosted by Amy Stein
Our family enjoys the country life. We raise beautiful highland cows and other animals. Along with animals, we enjoy running a small maple farm. We tap our woods and make maple syrup. Our Maple Crest Cabin was purchased with the idea of someday tapping the maples on the property. While Maple Crest is still a work in progress we love the area and beauty that surrounds it.
