This is a gem of a cottage on Java Lake. The location was perfect for being close to Letchworth State Park and Highmark Stadium. It was nice to be able to relax at the home in a country setting while being relatively close to many sightseeing opportunities. The large backyard was perfect for our two fur babies to play in.

Our stay here was amazing!! The cottage is so cute, and clean. The host is very responsive and helpful. The cottage has everything you would need, and there were even kayaks to take out on the lake to enjoy. It had a pretty view and a safe neighborhood. It is a good location for going to Niagara or Buffalo as well.
We had a great time at the cabin. It's an amazing spot next to the lake. We couldn't get enough of the incredible view. Each morning we woke up to the picturesque window outlooking nature that was just breathtaking. Like waking up to a unique painting each day.Love the ambiance of the house. It's super cozy and cute. Lots of cute touches in the decorations. We stayed in the fall and the cabin was decorated beautifully. Great job remodeling an old log cabin. Love seeing the old logs made to use the home. One very important note before booking to know beforehand is that there are stairs. Quite steep stairs. Stairs to get into the home, stairs to the second bedroom, stairs to get to the laundry in the basement. If you have small kids, I recommend bringing a baby gate for the upstairs bedroom. The AC units work great. The heater upstairs worked well. Kitchen is small, but functional. No dishwasher, but there is an oven, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, full size fridge, and stove. There are plenty of seating options inside and out. My favorite spot was out on the front porch outlooking the lake. Great spot to relax and drink your morning coffee. Beds are comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The host is very responsive and respectful. Checking-in and out was very simple.Overall it was a very pleasant stay. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a unique stay in upstate NY. It's close enough to lots of attractions. There is a Park across the street for kids.
