We felt so lucky to stay at the quaking Aspens!
Super comfortable and thoughtful home in a fantastic location to unwind and relax.
We enjoyed feeling “remote” without having to go to far! The house was secluded and very much the cabin we were looking for! All amenities were great and taken care of!

If you’re looking for a quiet place to recharge, this is a great place for a relaxing getaway. The cabin is thoughtfully appointed for guests, very comfortable and clean. Directions provided by the Host were simple and communication before, during and after our stay were appreciated and helpful. We will definitely return!
The cabin was in close proximity to the wedding venue American Homestead in Naches. The house floor plan gave privacy for sleeping and a great area to visit. We enjoyed the hot tub and the area was great for taking a walk. The host was easy to contact if needed.

Our family recently enjoyed a weekend at this beautiful and well appointed cabin. We were together to celebrate our daughter ’s wedding which took place close by. It was the perfect place. The cabin is beautiful as is the setting. We spent time visiting around the outdoor fire, listening to the elk bugling. The host was wonderful and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this property for its privacy, cleanliness and cozy feel.

I’m glad everything met your expectations, and it was a pleasure being your host. Thank you again for recommending us, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime!
My partner and I took some friends to Naches WA, for a long weekend to celebrate another friend buying a cabin in the area. Tim had the cabin ready for us on arrival. The place was super clean, spacious and true to the description. The area is beautiful and the cabin sits amongst the trees with a view of the mountains. We had a very peaceful weekend and will definitely be going back. I highly recommend.

Thank you for the 5 star review! We are happy that you enjoyed a peaceful weekend at Quaking Aspens Retreat!
This cabin was as described...beautiful! There's plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, but also a large living room and dining room for everyone to come together. The view was beautiful, hot tub was great and we had everything we needed. There was one small issue with water that couldn't be helped and was not a normal situation, but the host was AMAZING with communication and making things right! If you want a beautiful, quiet get-away, stay here!

Thank you so much for your 5 star review David (and Angela). You all were wonderful guests and we appreciated the opportunity to host you all. Please join us again!
My family, mom, and brother met at the cabin to celebrate Christmas together. It was a beautiful space and location. Lovely cabin surrounded by acres of forest. It felt remote, yet close enough to town that it was easy to access stores, etc, It was within an hour of White pass ski hill, which some in the family drove to. We saw elk around the cabin and also made the short drive to the elk feeding station. We were really wanting a location with a good chance of getting snow and we were not disappointed! Tim was amazingly responsive and even came by Christmas Eve day to relight the gas fireplace. We loved our stay and would love to stay again in the future!

Amazing beautifully inviting home. everything was so well meticulously planned from decorations, to comfort, to convenience and beyond.
I honeslty wish i had booked a longer stay.
it was just the get away i needed. the firepit was relaxing on the patio, and the hot tub looking uo at the stars cannot be beaten. walked a small hike around property and enjoyed the lush green trees and river nearby.
the host was incredible. warned me of a potential traffic issue along the way. .and responded within moments anytime we had communication.
i would highly recommended this place...you cannot possibly be dissapointed.
cannot wait to visit again!
We had a lovely stay at Tim’s cabin in Naches, WA. The three bedrooms on the one level worked nicely for our family and the sink in each bedroom was a great addition. It makes it convenient and no issue to share a toilet and shower between the bedrooms, as you can have your toiletries and wash and brush teeth in each bedroom. Our weather was fabulous with lows @ 55 and highs in the low 80s. We enjoyed the firepit in evenings and morning on the front porch. The hot tub was awesome, and we used the deck for stargazing every night. Overall, a great stay and I would highly recommend!
The location was perfect for our family and our needs. We enjoyed the remoteness and wanted to be as close as possible to Mt. Rainer for multiple hikes. That proved to be smart as the weather changed about 20-30 degrees between Naches and Mt. Rainer and being "close" (@ 20-40 minutes) allowed us to pivot when key hikes planned for Mt. Rainer ended up being cloudy/rainy or too windy on the mountain even when it was blue sky and sunny back in Naches.
On many levels you don't need to leave the cabin or go far. There is a wonderful river close by and we loved the local Woodshed restaurant. We did a lot of cooking, but that is because we stayed a while. I mentioned to the great owner, there are some key items that are needed to help those who cook. You do need to cook, as there not many restaurant options close by. The owner was kind and extremely responsive! So many little things made this home

Thank you so much for the fantastic review! I’m delighted that the cabin’s layout and amenities, like the sinks in each bedroom, made your stay comfortable and convenient. It sounds like you made the most of your time, from stargazing on the deck to fireside evenings and exploring nearby hikes—those are some of the best ways to experience the area! The weather differences between Naches and Mt. Rainier can really be something, so I’m glad the location worked out perfectly for your plans.
I appreciate your feedback on kitchen items, too—it's helpful for making sure our guests have everything they need for a relaxing stay. It was a pleasure to host you, and I’d love to welcome you back anytime for another mountain getaway!

About the host

I love the outdoors. Skiing, hiking, dirtbikes and snowbikes. I also love hanging out with my family at the cabin doing those same activites.
Why they chose this property
It's close to everything I love. Mt. Rainer, Whitepass ski resort, hiking and dirtbiking. I love the snow in the winter and the color of the trees in the fall. Plus there are rivers close by to fish and great people that live up there.
What makes this property unique
It's located on the side of a mountain, tucked away in the trees. It's quiet (only 4 houses on the entire mountain), safe and peaceful.
