About this property
Exquisite Stone Cottage 1/2 mile from Crossroads with View of LIttle Sheepcliff
Currently, only sharing with friends of friends (I am a realtor w Beacham & Co, Allen Tate, and member of Mountaintop) , as we are leaving A FEW personal belongings in the home - please include any Mountaintop, HH, and Wade Hampton people you know in your request. Not your grandmother's cabin in the woods! Newly renovated English stone cottage 1/2 mile from downtown Cashiers (crossroads). Everything is new and luxurious! No "ode to the bear", 80's curtains, or jewel tones here! Sophisticated decor, incredibly comfortable beds; fully stocked kitchen including copper pots, sous vide, Le Creuset, and super sharp knives, plates, glassware, and serving pieces for large gatherings; linens include fluffy towels, soft sheets, and expensive bedding. 3 fireplaces (living, den, master) are all easy to operate with one click of a remote button. Our dining table seats 10. The fenced yard is huge, up on a hill, private, and looks like an English country garden with gorgeous landscaping including boxwoods. The view is to the Northeast of Little Sheepcliff mountain. Common rooms and bedrooms are all on one level. Beds include a king in the master suite, 2 twins OR A KING BED in guest room, and 2 twin daybeds/couches in den. We believe if you go on vacation, you want your vacation home to be luxurious, stylish, have a great integration with nature, and be completely stocked with everything you can think of - before you think of it! You will be proud to have friends over for cocktails or dinner. We have gorgeous art and decor mixing contemporary with antiques for a unique look. Are you or your friends members of Mountaintop, Wade Hampton, High Hampton, Chattooga Club, or Lonesome Valley? You are so close! 8 minutes to High Hampton Inn, 8 minutes to Canyon Kitchen at Lonesome Valley, 10 minutes to Wade Hampton or Chattooga Club, 13 minutes to Mountaintop, and 22 minutes to our favorite, Restaurant Paoletti in Highlands. Walk to downtown Cashiers and have coffee and breakfast at Buck's, shop at Cashier's Farmers Market, dine at Whiteside Brewing or Ugly Dog Public House. There is Plentiful shopping also within walking distance including multiple antique shops, clothing stores, and gift boutiques. A short drive to some of the most amazing hikes with beautiful views of mountains, waterfalls, and streams. You will not get bored in Cashiers, but the house is so amazing you won't want to leave! Please note we are only booking a week or so in advance. We love this house we are not sure when we will be using it!
