We would stay here again! The layout was great, we loved being able to walk to neighboring restaurants and the new side of schlitterbahn, the river access was a nice perk, and parking cars in shade underneath the house was great given the summer heat. Easy and efficient communication, ideal location.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean, well stocked, and looked exactly like the pictures. The hot tub and fire pit were just what we needed after a day of tubing. The river was easily accessible and a quick 2 min walk from the house. We will definitely be back.

Better than expected!

The house was larger and nicer than we expected! The bathrooms were cleaned and the balcony was very cozy for slow mornings. Bedrooms and bathrooms were also very spacious. Highly recommend!

The house is absolutely perfect. The inside is fresh, clean, and organized. Plenty of room for all. The outside is perfect for family/friend activities. Hot tub, fire pit, bbq area. The safety of the gate surrounding the property offered privacy and security. The host was kind and very informative. Communication was instant when I had questions. I would highly recommend this property for anyone visiting New Braunfels.

Family wedding weekend in New Braunfels

I stayed at the Warnecke House with my husband, children, parents, and brother/sis-in-law. It was the perfect spot for all of us to have time together but also have separate space. The home was very clean and spacious. We didn’t use the outdoor space much due to rain, but the home has great outdoor space and a hot tub. Highly recommend!

Lovely home, tastefully decorated. Clean and inviting. Wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces. One of my favorite Vrbos I’ve stayed in. The hot tub was awesome, showers had great water pressure, lots of comfortable seating inside & out. The only items I’d suggest adding are additional large coffee mugs, and a hairdryer. I brought mine just in case, but usually a dryer is available on site.

Memorial River Trip

My family and I gathered at the river to celebrate my late son’s birthday because he loved floating the river. This property was exactly what my family needed. There were many places on the property for gathering in large and small groups. Everything you need is provided by the hosts. We will stay here again! Thanks for the memories.

So much fun!

This property was such a fun place to stay! The hot tub fit all 8 people, plenty of seating for snores night by the fire pit, and very good room set up to flow easily. The host was very quick to respond to our questions and was able to get maintenance to the house very quickly for a minor issue (the shower curtain rod fell prior to our arrival). The location is in walking distance to fun places and you can see deer on the property! Just make sure the gate is closed to keep them off the property, they will come in.

Great location; clean and pretty home

Everything was immaculate and nicely done. We had 4 teen girls and the floor plan, hot tub and fire pit were perfect. Only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is the stairs were a little dangerous. My elderly parents came to visit and were unable to go down the stairs without being supported by 2 people. The girls slipped on the stairs coming up from the hot tub in the dark. Hopefully they can put some non-slip something on them. Also the kitchen was not very well stocked. They have things like a crock pot and a hand mixer, but no glassware and few kitchen utensils.

The home was as pictured, very clean and the location was amazing, with walkable access to the Comal River, downtown New Braunfels, and nearby restaurants. We were 2 families staying together and we had plenty of space. We had a couple of minor issues - each bunk bed had only a fitted sheet and a comforter, no flat sheet (sheets were brought to the house a couple of days after we checked in), there was a port to charge an EV, but no cable (we had rented an EV and we had to take it to Buc-ees to charge it), the light fixture over the dining room table was missing half of its bulbs, and the base of the fixture was missing with wires exposed. Fortunately, none of these issues prevented us from having a fabulous time and making great memories!

This house was so spacious for our group of 11. Very short walk to free Comal River access. Huge hot tub. All bedrooms have lovely private bathrooms. The house does have a lot of stairs to reach the front door so it may not be right for everyone.
