Great Time at Harbour Villa

I had a relaxing stay at Harbour Villa in Longboat Key. Get accommodations with a terrific view of Sarasota Bay. I enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. Kitchen loaded with many conveniences. Would definitely recommend.

Upscale gem

The property is perfection, tucked away in a quiet, tranquil, and picturesque setting on the bay. The decor is classy and tastefully done. The swimming pool is so inviting and relaxing, just steps from the unit. And the location on Longboat Key was perfect.

Everything was as it was last year when we rented the same property.Unfortunately, someone else rented it for next year, and we were not given the right of first refusal. Too bad.

A few odds and ends

Absolutely no condiments, not even salt and pepper! Both sliding doors for the screened in porch not working properly.Could use a television in the main bedroom.

A relaxing vacation on Longboat Key

A wonderful property, with an exceptional location. The apartment was clean and, with few exceptions, very well equipped. The swimming pool was right outside the door, and there were high quality gas grills nearby. Of special note was the screened porch. A few suggestions: the carpets in both bedrooms are in need or replacement. I would also suggest a parasol that could be taken to the beach with the provided wagon. Other than that, everything was fine.

Needs work

We were in a bind when we arrived because the lockbox was not working. We ended up using the backup key in the other lockbox. The unit smelled musty assuming that was from water damage from the hurricane. The carpet is old and dirty. The master did not have a TV, one of the lamp shades was broken and so was one of the curtains. The master shower had very low water pressure so the 4 of us had to use the other shower and that handle needs to be replaced. I reached out about the water pressure and no one responded. None of the the sliding doors were locking so we had to use the wooden stakes which is not ideal. The bikes for use were rusty and we couldn't get into the courts either.

Hi Katie. There was nothing wrong with the lockbox after investigating but we changed it out anyway. We have a back up lockbox as well so getting access into the unit is never an issue. This unit is always professionally cleaned between guests. Water pressure is less in the master but still works fine. Sliders are reinforced with wooden poles in the tracks for added safety. Tennis courts are open 7 days a week for all guests and residents. Had we known you couldn't gain access, we could have helped you. This unit does not offer bikes for use.
