5 Bedroom Cabin in Gatlinburg with Home Theater close to Rocky Top Sports comple

This is a 3600 square foot log cabin located in the Golf Creek area of Cobbly Nob in Gatlinburg,Tn. We have a fantastic view of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. There is a creek at the edge of the property running through the golf course, providing a very relaxing sound. There are 3 decks for enjoying the views.

The top floor contains the kitchen, open living area, and two bedrooms (king and queen beds). All the bedrooms are separated for privacy and each has its own private bathroom. There is a 42' flat screen TV with HD and an electric fireplace in the living area. The are two dining tables, enough to seat 10-12 easily. The master bedroom has a huge walk-in closet and huge bathroom with jetted tub and shower. There is a flat screen 32' HD tv in master bedroom. The utility room contains a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board. The hot tub is on the front deck on this level.


The second floor is the deluxe game room containing a full size pool table, foosball, and ping pong (table tennis). There is an electric fireplace in the game room. There are two separated bedrooms, each with private baths. The king bedroom has an adjoining small bedroom with a full size bunk bed (full /full). This is great for families with children. New 32' flat screen tv in king bedroom. There is a balcony off the game room for your viewing pleasure.

The lower level is the theater. This 10' x 40' room has an 80' smart tv and DVD player. We have provided recliners for your viewing comfort. There is also a wet bar with microwave and full bathroom on this floor. A single log bed that sleeps 1 is on this level. There are two exit doors from the theater to the balcony.

Our family really enjoyed this cabin. The setting was beautiful and peaceful, and the host’s communication was consistently quick and helpful. There was plenty of space for the kids to play and relax, which made the trip feel easy and comfortable. The dishwasher happened to be broken during our stay, but it didn’t impact our overall experience. The kids had a blast, and we’d definitely return.

We enjoyed staying in the cabin. It has a lot of space for a large family (we had 13) and we could spread out on all three levels. It is 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The 6th bed is in the theater room in basement and another hide-a-bed couch in main living area (not game room). The pool nearest the cabin was nice. Host was quick to respond when we needed trash picked and answer a couple other questions. Note: this cabin is not the closest to big stores or entry to the national park. You have a bit of drive (30-40 minutes). Not that it’s a negative but just pointing it out so you allow extra time.

The property was very nice and fit our needs for the stay. The hot tub was much appreciated for tired legs and feet after a day of walking around downtown! The photos do not show how steep the driveway is - seriously it is STEEP. My son-in-law scraped the fender on his truck trying to get up to park. The roads up to the cabin are basically one lane and very narrow. Bring a 4-wheel drive vehicle. The lower parking area can fit a couple of vehicles but be prepared to haul everything up two flights of stairs to the main level or hike it up the driveway. The beds were all comfy and we had plenty of hot water for showers. The photos do not show that a porch roof covers the front deck, and that's where the hot tub is located as well - just FYI.

This cabin was amazing. We loved every minute of it. Our only complaint was that we couldn’t stay longer. The entire cabin is so cozy and inviting. The hot tub was perfection. The only issue we had was that the bed in the master bedroom was super squeaky and every movement at night woke me up bc it was very noisy

Perfect for our friends trip

The cabin was amazing and absolutely met all of what we needed during our stay! We had 11 people total that stayed there and it was a great time! I definitely will recommend this cabin to people and keep it in mind for next time we come down to visit!

The place was big enough. Had to fight off ladybugs. They were all over the cabin. The cabin wasn’t that clean. There was nothing to have to start up with. The hot tub water smelled Mold.

I had problems while I was there: a mouse running through the top floor the first night making everyone uncomfortable, however a pest control person came the next day to address the issue; the next couple of days the smoke detector kept going off, it took us two days to figure out which smoker detector was going off and removed it. The owner of the property tried to address both issues but never ask if me if I may receive any compensation for these inconveniences. Both of these incidents cause the rest and peace I hope to have during this trip didn't happen. Hopefully, these issues have been fixed and the next person renting this cabinet will have a better experience than it was for us. If you want to be close to activities this isn't the place for you. You have to drive a least 20 minutes or more. The cabinet has lots of space for a large group. The owner is very friendly and tried her best to be helpful. All of my four grandchildren graduated from schools this year: high-school or college level and this was trip to celebrate their accomplishments. Overall, we did celebrate them with all of issues listed above.
