You can tell when people love their property and sharing it brings them joy. The owners have created an oasis down a country road. Don’t hesitate to book it and enjoy the adventure to get there. It’s a wonderful place to stay.

Short stay in a lovely place

We needed a place for an overnight stay after a day at the Texas Motorplex races and this little castle was perfect. There’s a lot of attention by the Hosts to little things to welcome guests, check in was so smooth and we got to relax right away.

David and Patty are such thoughtful and gracious hosts! We were greeted with a personalized welcome sign as we entered, and then we spotted our favorite coffee and farm-fresh eggs. The inside was in perfect shape, and upstairs was super spacious, even with a king bed and seating area. Plus, I loved walking through the garden and the nicely manicured grounds, as the sun filtered through the trees the next morning. This was the perfect peaceful home away from home experience!

Castle

The castle is a nice place. Well maintained, clean good bed. It is also well stocked with snacks and drinks. It was close to a function we attended in Streetman Tx. The only negative is the dusty gravel roads to the property- but once there - all is great.

Beautiful Stay In Rural Texas

We visit family in Texas every year and have struggled in the past to find any accommodations that were convenient to our visits that could be comfortable for our family of 4. This property was perfect for us! The hosts were absolutely lovely and quick to respond and provided great communication throughout. The grounds, garden, fire pit and covered carport area were all great. The inside of the property was extremely clean, had everything we needed and was just the perfect size! And so well temperature controlled for such tall ceilings in a Texas summer! So thankful for this property now being available! The only thing that concerned us at first was the very rural & very dark drive down several county roads to the property on our first drive in (we arrived late at night) but once we knew where we were headed and got to the well lit, fenced in property we were happy to have this landing spot in the middle of rural Texas. Thanks again!
