Looking for a QUIET lakeside getaway? Casa Reel is a great destination for a low-key lake experience. Perfect for those who like to fish, swim, canoe, or relax on the deck. Not a party pad, Casa Reel is nice for couples, small families, a couple of fishing buddies, or as a home base for a few gal pals who want to explore Athens, Canton, Dallas, or Waco. Located on Richland Chambers Reservoir, 15 min SE of the historic town of Corsicana. Non-smoking property inside and out. Pets not permitted. 3B/2.5 house located on cul-de-sac in charming cove with beautiful views of the lake and over 200 ft of waterfront, which incl private dock and boat slip. Just fyi, it's a country setting...we do our best to keep them at bay, but there may be some bugs and critters.

If you’re looking for a nice quiet getaway with lake front property, then Casa Reel is your spot! Our host was very communicative and met all of our needs. The house was perfect with amenities , a place to fish and swim, and lots of space for our family. We would definitely stay here again.

Family fishing getaway

Great House on the Lake

This house was perfect for our family to stay at for a fishing tournament. Plenty of beds and seating for everyone and the view of the lake was amazing! They provided plenty of towels, blankets, pillows and all of the kitchen essentials. The host, Laurie was very responsive to my messages with questions before our stay and she met us at the house when we arrived to welcome us and give us details about the home and things to do in the area. We would definitely stay here again!

Just what the family needed

We had a wonderful time over the Labor Day weekend at this house that had it all! We enjoyed floating in the lake, chilling by the water, sunning on the patio and everything this gem had to offer. The house was clean, fully stocked with everything we needed and a whole lot more! We definitely want to come back real soon!

Perfect boys getaway

For Christmas, my husband and I gave our sons a guided fishing trip on Richland Chambers Reservoir. We picked out the Vrbo about three weeks in advance. Laurie was incredible through the whole process! She met my boys and welcome them, making sure they had everything they needed. All four boys were raving about what a great house this was, and the location on the water could not have been more perfect. They wanna go back in October! Thank you Laurie for all of your hard work and meeting them when they got there.

This was a lovely home right on the shore of the lake. Fabulous time watching birds amd squirrels and the waves on the lake. We had absolutely everything we needed and more. A very comfortable home.

Wonderful lake property

We came from Wyoming to watch the eclispe and visit Texas for the first time. This is a wonderful house in the lake, within east driving to Waco, Austin and Dallas/Ft Worth. Easy check in abs check out. Would highly recommend

Excellent home on the lake!

My husband and I were looking for a nice relaxing place on the water away from the kids for our 11th anniversary. This home was awesome and the photos just don’t do it justice. It was super clean, organized, and the back deck had an excellent view of the lake. It was so quiet and relaxing. We had a great time! The owner, Laurie was so sweet and even left us a bottle of sparkling wine for our anniversary dinner!!

Much neede respite from home

I cannot review this high enough, 5 star? more like 50! Absolutely what we needed. Lake front, shaded with mature oak trees, nice quiet. perfect place for family get togethers! Lovely deck and impeccable interior. It may have been the hottest weekend this year, but it was nothing but chill for the family!

This could be a great property. Big deck looking towards lake, but the leafs an sticks on deck were bad. Spiders also outside and inside the house. The kicker was a big cockroach on the kitchen floor when i came in the last night.

Perfect Lake-cation!

Where to begin....first off, Laurie was a fantastic owner! She was not only extremely helpful but also answered my borage of questions quickly and thoughtfully! Her recommendations for the town were spot on! As for the house, it was just perfect! Extremely clean and a great layout for our family (mom, dad, fiancé and I). The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking items you would need as well as a healthy stocked pantry. The yard was perfection! Very large and spacious with a giant deck to boot! The scenery was heavenly! We used the fire pit both nights and roasted marshmallows! Two kayaks and a splash pad were also a nice touch! We did some fishing and enjoyed the calmness and peacefulness of the neighborhood. It was exactly what we all needed! 5 stars isn’t enough to give this place! We will most definitely be back!
