Reindeer Retreat- Great Home Base to Explore Flagstaff, Sedona, Grand Canyon

A perfect place to escape the heat in the Summer and enjoy playing in the snow in the Winter! Take a break and enjoy the clean mountain air in the tall pines of the Arizona forest just 90 minutes from North Phoenix.

This single level cabin is perfect for outdoor family dinners on the large deck equipped with gas grill and patio furniture. Master bedroom has a queen bed and private bathroom. The second and third bedrooms also have queen beds. The fourth bedroom is set up with two twin beds. Great for families who enjoy trail riding, mountain biking, and just enjoying the clean forest air. The memories that are created here will last a lifetime!

Flagstaff is a short 20 minutes away for shopping, a movie theater, great restaurants, more hiking trails, snow skiing and snow play. Take a day trip to either Sedona or the Grand Canyon.

Please note-- Reindeer Retreat is located in Munds Park which is an unincorporated neighborhood of mostly summer/vacation homes with some year round residents located 20 miles south of Flagstaff. Our nearby neighborhood restaurants may have reduced operating hours/ and or mid week closed days during the off-season.

Additional Note: We do have a single outdoor security camera mounted to the front of the cabin above the front entry light which points toward the walkway into the deck along with the parking area and street.

Wonderful Place to Stay

We had a great stay at the Reindeer Retreat! It was the perfect basecamp for my crew during my race, and a great place to come back to after. It was a short enough drive into flagstaff, and the neighborhood was beautiful. We spent plenty of time on the front deck and enjoyed all of that the house had to offer. We would absolutely book here again! Thanks to Bill for all of his communication with my sister as well!

My wife, children, and entire extended family have been loving our relaxing trips to Munds Park for over 30 years, and to this cabin since 2004. Our family has been fortunate for all the time growing up, and growing closer while making lasting memories. You will love your time cooling off in the summer, enjoying some night time star gazing or playing in the snow in the winter.

What makes this property unique

Reindeer Retreat is all on one level which is great for little ones, or the more seasoned guests who don't care for stairs! Our location is a great jumping off point for all the attractions and things to do in the area. When you arrive at your "home away from home" you will find the fully equipped kitchen and large dining room make for even more memories of your meals together! The large front deck has lots of seating and space to enjoy that morning coffee, or for a fun Bar-B-Que with after dinner drinks.
