Beautiful home, location was perfect. Nice cove which was very quiet, great for swimming and just floating around. The dock was great even with the low water level in the lake, the attached floating dock allowed for easy docking of the boat we rented.

Great lakefront house

We loved the location on a quiet inlet, and the bar at the dock got a lot more use than we were expecting. Great fishing off the dock too. Fantastic stay.

My family had a great time and enjoyed all the water toys and games that this beautiful home provided. The kids and adults loved jumping off the dock and access was easy, even for us with knee issues.Access for gas for the boat and jet skis was easy and quick to Mitchell’s Point.We truly enjoyed our 1st stay at this end of the lake, but did find that going to Bridgewater plaza was a 20 minute hike, which my family loves to go there and play, eat and do some karaoke every year.

Great Labor Day Weekend Family Trip

We had a great time at SML! The kids loved playing in the water. Having access to the dock and its bar were awesome! Lou was a great host!

The communication from Lou was timely and very helpful, providing both details of the house and surrounding areas and services. House was clean and warm when we arrived. Really nice to have the kayaks, canoes, and access to the dock amenities. Would like to return during summer to truly take advantage of all that is Smith Mountain Lake.

Life on the Lake

The property is located on a cove on Smith Mountain Lake with lake access and surrounded by forest to create a beautiful landscape with an abundance of wildlife. We enjoyed the water activities, canoes & kayaks. TThe house is spacious and comfortable for large groups. with an abundance with eildlife
