Family Vacation

Listing was a little misleading with the travel time to the beach. Tried for a few days to get the golf cart for use, never worked out. Beautiful sunbathing area and pool bar. I would recommend this property.

Very nice condo on ground floor at quiet end of the lagoon pool and overlooking the 3rd tee. Absolutely loved the pool and the beach club. The unit was clean and modern, beds comfortable and internet good. The host was very good at communicating and the shuttle driver Adrian was so very helpful. We had a few glitches, but things were taken care of promptly.

Paradise!

Apartment has everything you need, your home away from home. The host was very responsive and suggested places to eat and addressed any questions that we had. The location was great. The entrance is the same entrance to the Hard Rock since the primary entrance hasn’t been finished yet. Additonally, you have options to eat at the Hard Rock Casino or purchase the day pass. Don’t forget to visit the Cana Bay Beach Club, amazing food, beach and pool all in one. Currently $35 per person for day pass which is used as a food and drink credit, this is located on the same property. With this apartment the pool is right outside your door, also very convenient. And forget to mention the apartment is beautiful.

We really wanted to like this place, but our experience was very disappointing. Communication was a struggle from the start. I didn’t receive any check-in details and had to reach out multiple times, often feeling like I was inconveniencing the host for information I had already paid for. Check-in was at 3 PM, but even after messaging at 4 PM, we didn’t get access until around 7 PM. This was especially difficult because we were traveling with a toddler and a baby after an international flight.When we finally entered the apartment, the home did not appear clean. It had a noticeable smell as if it hadn’t been maintained in some time. Every faucet initially ran brownish water, which made us uncomfortable even showering or using the sinks. The freezer had visible mold, and the dryer still had clothes left inside from a previous stay.To make things worse, the air conditioner was not working at all during our time there. Only the fans worked, and in the Dominican Republic heat, the entire apartment was extremely uncomfortable. Since we arrived so late, we didn’t have the option to find another place for the night, which made the situation really stressful.Overall, we were very disappointed and would not stay here again. I’m sharing this so others are aware — I truly hope improvements are made, because the place does have potential, but our experience was not acceptable for the price or listing expectations.

Todo el lugar estuvo excelente, solo no hay acceso a la playa, tienes que pagar 35 dólares si quieres entrar a la playa, el departamento y el area de la alberca todo excelente excepto por la lavadora no funcionaba y a veces la puerta fallaba para entrar al departamento.
