What a beautiful place! It was just as nice in person as the pictures suggest! Sooooo nice to have morning coffee over looking the lake from the dock!Very clean, and nice little touches like complimentary coffee station setup, fire wood, very nice t.v. and living room area, made us feel very welcome!

Tranquil and peaceful

We were thankful to find a beautiful cottage on the water without the need of driving hours up north. Great layout and amenities, town is very close by and easy to get to. Neighbourhood is very nice would definitely visit again and recommend

There were issues with the toilet that weren’t resolved until after 7 PM on the second day extremely inconvenient having to drive into town to use a bathroom. They did credit one night but refused to credit for the second.

Beautiful & Cozy Lake House

Our stay was great! Not only is the house cozy and decorated with taste, but the backyard and lake was spectacular to spend our days in! Perfect place for an intimate family vacation to enjoy swimming, fishing, bbq’s, roasting marshmallows on the fire pit and much more. Hosts are great with communication and are quick to respond and help with anything. Everything was provided in the house. We had an amazing weekend at this cozy cottage!

Clean and comfortable cottage. It was unfortunate that we could not use the paddleboards or kayaks as the water was quite murky, so we didn't want to swim in it, but we would have liked to be on the water. We chose this cottage specifically because we thought we would be able to access the lake.

Almost Great

The place was beautiful, as was the lake. Everything was provided and made the stay very easy. However, two issues were there. First, I didn’t realize that the one bathroom was connected to one of the bedrooms, and the two single bedrooms were not separated by a door or anything. Obviously not a dealbreaker, but people constantly coming to my room to use the bathroom, especially during the night did get a bit annoying. Secondly, the fire alarm is horrible. It was constantly going off every time we turned on the stove, or even preheated the oven with nothing there. Lovely place, comfortable, but it’s got its quirks.

We appreciate the opportunity to stay - I only wish to leave this honest review of our experience. The Good: Inside was clean. The view is nice, being directly on the lake. Bedding & linens were very comfortable. Heat & air conditioning was affective and the location is nearby to stores. It was a very quiet, peaceful area during the day & night during our stay. Not So Good: A handful of things that combined to make our stay less & less enjoyable. There was only one lounge chair and only one Muskoka chair in the backyard despite being two in the photos, so we had to share between two of us. The lawn was overgrown during our stay and all of the furniture was covered with old spiderwebs & bugs when we arrived. There were several kitchen/BBQ amenities missing compared to the photos. The plastic kitchen utensils were all damaged (melted) by others. The kayaks in the backyard were on the ground covered with dead foliage & bugs, seemingly untouched for months. There is only one light in the backyard which must be plugged into the outdoor outlet - there is no light switch for this single backyard light source, so you need to go outside to plug/unplug the lights which is less than ideal if it's raining. Also, due to an issue with the toilet from before we had arrived, on our first day, we lost an hour of our stay to wait for maintenance - would be nice if we were offered an hour later checkout to compensate. Not bad, but certainly things that detract from the experience overall.
