Salty Air Retreat is our three-bedroom family beach house located on a quiet north-end street on Fort Myers Beach, with
a private heated pool and public beach access at the end of the street. Two living areas, three full baths, a brand-new kitchen, and sleeps eight. Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, towels, and a beach buggy included.

The home was fully renovated at the end of 2024. New kitchen with quartz counters, stainless appliances, navy cabinets, and full dishware. Two distinct living areas keep the group from being on top of each other: an
open-concept upstairs with the main kitchen and dining for eight, and a downstairs family room with a kitchenette and pub table that opens straight to the pool.

Outside, a private heated pool with chaise loungers and full sun for most of the day. The yard is palm-shaded for shade when you want it. The screened upper lanai has an outdoor loveseat, dining for eight, and a peek of
the Gulf between the palms. Gas grill with propane on the lower patio.

I traveled with my husband, son and his family (a 1 and 6 year old). The space was great for 2 families with the 2 living areas. It was very close to the beach and we spent a lot of time on the screened porch with a view of the ocean. The house was very well stocked with everything you need. Would definitely stay here again if we come back.

I almost don't want to leave a review because this property is so great, I want it to be my secret!!! :) House - beautiful, the host has put a lot into the details, such has extra plugs for all our charging, lots of towels, comfortable furniture and all the kitchen tools we could have possibly needed. You have a narrow view of the water from the front and it literally takes 4 min to get to the beach. You are practically on the water. The host provides almost anything you need for the beach as well as for the pool. The pool area is very cute. Seven of us sat comfortably around the pool area. Local Area - we took a Lyft from the airport (at this house, you are so close to things you don't really need a car, and there are bikes to rent across the street), and it was only about 35 min. As mentioned above, the beach is so close, and there are clearly marked access points all over the place. The sand was soft and the resorts on the beach provide entertainment and easy places to grab a bite if you don't want to walk to the house. The Times Square area is super close and we even took a 15 min walk to eat on the Bay side.Other logistics - There is a Publix about 2 miles down the road. The first day I did Instacart and I was not impressed. So the 2nd visit I took a Lyft. It does take a while to get anywhere by car since there is only on main road. The Lyft was about 20 min long ride.

Family Beach Getaway

The property was a perfect set up for our family, with plenty of space for 7 adults and the little ones. Very clean and close to the beach. They thought of everything from a kitchen that had everything you could possibly need, to a complete beach setup with chairs and toys! The house is so close to the beach, and you can see it while sitting on the screeded in porch, enjoying coffee or cocktails! Overall very good! Ease of access to beach excellent, beach accessories was very good. Rooms were quiet and comfortable, air conditioning worked flawlessly. Kitchen was well equipped. The swimming pool was well maintained and refreshing. Only suggestion: the gas grill worked well, however the area below the grates need a cleaning. Great location and plenty of amenities! We had plenty of space in the house. Kitchen has the perfect coffee spot on the screened in porch. Easy walking to the beach. Our family calls Southwest Florida home, and I’ve been playing in the sand and swimming in the Gulf of Mexico since I vacationed on Fort Myers Beach with my family as a child. We love to start our mornings at Salty Air Retreat with a walk on the beach, savoring the salty air and picking shells with a cup of coffee in hand. We usually end our beach days on a blanket in the sand, watching the most beautiful sunsets over the Gulf.

Our family loves spending time together at Salty Air Retreat - we hope you'll stay at our place, and love it as much as we do!

We love our slice of beachy paradise - we’re close enough to be just a short walk from Fort Myers Beach’s Times Square with restaurants and shops, and we’re far enough away that our place is a peaceful retreat. But the best part of our location is that you can see the beach and the Gulf from our front door - less than a block from door to sand!
