New News: Hurricane IAN damaged 100% of the homes on Ft Myers beach, We have rebuilt and it is new and nice. And better then ever with a second bathroom. In 2024 and 2025 we are booking up super fast.
Outdoor grilling area. Refunds up to check in day. Super Fast internet can handle 56 devices at once all at high speed. Cleaned above CDC / W,H,O standards. Everything provided for the best family vacation ever. Fishing has been great off the dock. We have a heated pool / hot tub inside a screen inclosure connected to the house. Nice, bright, light and very clean. Short walk to the beach 400 ft just across Estero blvd, private access, to beach, Property has its own huge boat dock on canal bring your own boat, perfect for sunning. 12 minutes boat ride from dock to Gulf. One block to the grocery store very close to local Restaurants, and places to eat but with the full kitchen you don't have to eat out every meal. Marina, ship store, restaurants, beach, park and Estero Bay all close by. Your renting the whole first floor it’s Three bedrooms with 5 beds sleeps 6 and sleeps 7 with additional folding bed. it has 2 baths, and a large living room, dining area and sitting area, The kitchen is well-stocked with new cookware and a large laundry area with full size washer and dryer. We now have an electric vehicle charger. There is also an enclosed screened pool enclosure that overlooks the canal and beautiful landscaping. Don't forget the gas grill, 2 new 55" TVs with cable, very fast internet, and all new dinnerware and hypoallergenic bedding. Newly painted and decorated. This location is quiet but central to all of the Fort Myers Beach action. The driveway has room for 3 cars. Store your beach gear and bikes in the enclosed garage. 3 bicycles are provided for your use and one new beach wagon for hauling cooler and chairs to beach. We have 3 kayaks available to rent. Dogs are welcome on the beach on leash. Dogs are welcome in our home and in the pool with payment of Dog fee. (We're so sorry we can't accommodate cats due to allergies.) one of us David or Katie is usually staying upstairs From November through June we have our own private entrance and only use the pool area when your at the beach or out for dinner. Or we have friends staying, So we can correct any problems that will arise usually fast. And if we’re not around our maintenance man can be there soon. But with everything being new or replaced not much goes wrong anymore. While you are staying with us you are very welcome to have friends or family visit or stay with you. Or come and use the beach or the pool with you. for your safety there are outside security cameras. only for security no recordings are kept or shared. Noise monitoring system is on premises. The house was perfect for our family! Great location. Piblix, just a block away. Coconut Jacks was delish and they offer free valet parking! We visited Lovers Key for a nice hike and spotted Turtles and an alligator.

Super convenient to get to the beach and the house had chairs, umbrella, wagon, etcPublix was one street over. Loved that. The island had holiday traffic so getting to the grocery without getting in the car was a nice surprise. House was well stocked with kitchen supplies, paper towels, toilet paper etc. Really nice to check in and not have to worry about necessities on day one.

This was our first Vrbo rental with our whole family and everything was great! We have 4 kiddos, there was enough space for all of us. We really appreciated the location - very close to the beach and to Publix grocery store, central on the island & a few miles south of the busy area so there was lots of open space on the beach. We loved the dock and sat by the canal in the morning, saw a dolphin late at night in the canal which was really cool for the older kids. The kids also loved the pool and swam a lot - the screen cuts down the sun exposure in the morning and it is full shade in the afternoon. We saw/talked to the owner just briefly a few times during the week but he was available when needed, gave us some good activity/restaurant recommendations and our kids loved their dog :-). Only thing that was a bit annoying is that to go out for dinner on the north side of the island is a 30-60-minute drive to get 2 miles - easier to go earlier in the day or take bikes. Overall this was a great vacation location and we would definitely stay here again!

After two negative experiences with vacation rentals in the area (the hosts didn't respond), we were really relieved to have David as a host who responded within minutes. Everything went smoothly. The location of the house is a dream, just a few steps from the sea, with a canal in the garden, and absolutely quiet. There is a Publix right next door, which is also very convenient. Everything was very clean. The children loved the toys and bicycles and, of course, the pool.

Great pool and close to beach!

This was the perfect place to stay! It is very dog friendly too:) We loved sitting around the pool, hot tub, and deck all day but especially for our morning coffee before exploring. The beach is very close and is also great for dogs. The neighborhood is cute and the neighbors super friendly. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. The owners were very easy to work with!! Thank you for a great vacation!

We love dogs and dogs on the beach are the best. My old dog loves sitting in the hot tub with the jets on his hip. We have a special filter for the dogs. All the beds and everything are new so they should be nice. and we have new fishing poles too. Some weeks the fishing has been good for snapper. You guys are welcome any time. This home is absolutely perfect. It was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The access to the beach was perfect. The host was top notch. The pool and hot tub were absolutely outstanding! We’ve had many VRBO experiences and David made this the best of them all. There is an alarm on the pool door which made me rest easier! This was a 10 Star experience.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cookware which we appreciated. Being 1 street over from Publix was a huge plus. We loved the super strong air vent that blew icy cold air straight at the bed while we slept. We used the box fan provided just to produce white noise. The house is dog friendly, yet it is the cleanest vacation home we’ve ever stayed in. Our little dog had a great time too. The area was very quiet and relaxing, and the walk to the beach only took a few minutes. David and Katherine were quick to respond with any questions we had. I would highly recommend their place to anyone looking to spend some time in Fort Myers Beach.

We absolutely love having guests stay at our house. Especially when they give us such high praise. we are glad to hear the A/C works so well. It really should work good because its all bran new after the hurricanes. We pay our cleaners a good wage to clean the house after A rental. So its good feedback that we are getting what we pay for. We also let the cleaners stay for free if they want to bring there families to stay at the beach for a week. Because they are the ones keeping it nice. We are set up for dogs so its not a problem and if the dog wishes to use the pool we have a special filter for that. Any Questions just ask. Katherine & David

Great house great hosts.

We enjoyed our stay. My husband grandkids and I had plenty of room to spread out. Kids each had their own rooms which they loved. They played hours in the pool and hot tub. ( lots of pool toys and beach toys). David and Kathi were great hosts, very accommodating, and have thought of everything. We were even able to bring our boat and dock right at house. Loved it all. Great Vacation

We had a wonderful stay. Check in was easy and everything was as described. There was nothing additional that was needed. Publix is a very short walk, which was so convenient. We had family visit as well, and had plenty of room. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the kids were fishing off the dock. Beach access was easy and quick. We loved walking the beach and found so many beautiful shells. David and Katie were extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect for everything you need. July 4th week.

Very great people to rent from. David and Katherine were very helpful and honest from the get go. The property location is awesome execpt for the construction on the main road on the walk to the beach. The pool and hot tub are the highlights of the house. We had a problem with the dryer and the pool remote the first couple days but David had it fixed as soon as he could. The AC in the unit blowed cold air but the house did not hold the temperature very well, but was not unbearable. The beach cart, chairs and bikes were great. Great people great place.

Perfect little piece of Paradise!

The pictures do not do this place justice! My husband and I stayed with our two dogs and both our parents for a week. This place had everything we needed and more! The location is incredible- short walking distance to the beach and Publix. During our stay we spent a lot of time on the dock, where we saw manatees swimming in the canal and iguanas hanging out in the neighbors yard. David was great at communicating our entire stay, including when we had a few issues with the hot tub. Luckily my hubby is pretty handy and he was able to get the hot tub working without much hassle. The pool was perfect to cool off in and the waterfall was so relaxing to listen to while working on our tans. It was so nice to have all the amenities of a five star hotel solely ours for our stay!

It’s nice to read reviews like this. The dogs are always welcome here. Everyone loves the location and our attention to detail. Glad to hear the manatee are returning to the canal. Most guests see Dolphins at our dock but few see the manatee. Katie and I are not a business but a couple trying to pay a few bills and share our wonderful home with others. We try to anticipate every any issues that may come up and any requests that guests may have. I had a new hot tub antenna in stock just in case it ever went bad and it did during X-Mas… it worked out so well the replacement was easy to do and they were able to use the hot tub every day. Great location!

This home is in such a great location! Publix right down the street, beach maybe 3 football fields away... so convenient! I drive for work and this vacation I just wanted to sit back, relax not have to drive to the beach or really anywhere....fishing right out the back door (I caught a beautiful catfish back there on my stay) nice chairs out on the deck with leg rest and chairs to lay in the sun.... swimming pool and hot tub all right there so I literally had almost no driving to do other than up to Publix which is like a block away and we went out to eat a few times (doc fords rum bar and grille is AMAZING!!!) My daughter and son LOVED the lights in the pool and hot tub! The kitchen had everything that we needed to make our meals every night, plenty of towels in the linen closet for showers and the pool. With everything right there it made one of the most relaxing vacations we’ve been on. David stayed in touch throughout the whole vacation and before, throughout this whole COVID-19 mess which was such a peace of mind! Thank you David and Katie for allowing us to stay in your home this last week!

Katie and I are so lucky to find such good honest hard working people as our guests. Kayla's Kids like so many others just want to live in the pool. They sent me pictures of the snappers they caught off the dock. And they cooked em up and ate them. Thats fantastic. It's funny they mentioned that we have so many towels because the cleaners say it takes forever to wash 32 beach and shower size towels. So now we use the washer dryer upstairs too. We are always looking for ways to improve our home. But this family was happy and relaxed just the way our home is... Covid is such a big deal we have developed a protocol that exceeds the WHO and CDC guidelines for rentals. everything is cleaned and all linens washed with bleach mixture then all surfaces are sanitized then cleaning supplies are restocked for our guests. It takes 2 people 6 to 8 hours but my cleaners are paid by the hour so they like it.. Kayla: Your family is always welcome here. Hope we see you again soon. Katherine & David

Your own little oasis

We had such a great time! Family of 3 + fur baby. David is very easy to communicate with and he responds quickly. The location is perfect! We were wanting a quiet getaway not the big condo feel. From the moment we arrived we were so happy with our choice! Our daughter enjoyed the pool and hot tub so much..And so did we! Beach is very close easy walk across the street. We rented a boat and were able to tie it up out back on the dock. It was a quick boat ride over to Sanibel and surrounding areas. We never saw anything in the canal but on our boat rides we saw manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, rays, and even a baby hammerhead. You just can’t beat this location and it’s out of the hussle and bussle but still close enough to ride bikes or drive down to Times Square. Publix is easily walkable. It is dated in some ways but we spent so little time in the house it didn’t matter. It was very clean and came with everything you could possibly need. After a long day at the beach nothing beat enjoying a cocktail on the dock. It was very much worth the price and we would definitely stay again. Small heads up… there’s no ceiling fans…. If you require a fan at night (like us) plan to bring one.

The Cameron family was also very easy to deal with. On checkout they started the towels to save the cleaner time. And they were easy guests to have. A tropical storm tried to blow them away but no issues. We keep a fan in the kids room closet for someone who needs white noise. I didn’t know. I also have hearing impaired fire alarm an air mattress and other things out guests may need. We like it when guests use the bicycles. You are always welcome here. Katherine & David

We are a professional couple who grew up in the Chicago area but are world travelers. Our dream is to have a home in Ft Myers Beach. This home is that dream but at 3600 SQ ft. it's more than we need so you get the bottom unit! That unit is 1625 sq ft. We do stay at property in the upper unit and are now residents. This is the BEST area on the whole island. Central Location and Quiet. and so close to the beach. You can watch Dolphins in the canal 25' from the house. We now have an indoor pool and hot tub. And a screen over all. Very nice sitting area around pool.

Why they chose this property

Cleaned above world health standards. Any property in this area is going to be nice. Most of the neighbors are seasonal and all are friendly. Fast WIFI, We now have a indoor heated pool and hot tub. The location is quiet, relaxing and convenient. Just 400 feet to the beach across Estero blvd. If you want to party like a Rock Star this is not the right place for you. If you want to enjoy the Florida lifestyle, sun and grill up some shrimp, then this is perfect for you. If you have a family this is a great location with 5 beds. It has a private dock on a canal.. With 5 new Mattresses and boxsprings and the 2 new 55" TV's . you are going to love our home. We love dogs so bring them with. We can correct any problems that arise usually fast. And if we’re not around our maintenance man can be there soon. Recently we added 4 outside security cameras. only for security no recordings are kept or shared. Noise monitoring system is on the premises. And the property passes a comprehensive safety check continuously. We have a private entrance to upstairs when we are around From November to May but still very private and we don't share common space when you are around.

What makes this property unique

At first light take your coffee and walk to the beach. Dogs are welcome on a leash while on the beach. Go north or south it doesn't matter because there's miles of beach in either direction. The best time to hunt for seashells is in the morning after a storm. Sometimes you will walk across 100s of star fish that washed up during the night or maybe a sand dollar or two. If you get hungry or thirsty there is always a wonderful restaurant nearby. 3 bicycles provided if you want to use and a new beach wagon, 4 beach chairs and 4 fishing poles are available... Part time during year we are upstairs. sometimes we have friends stay upstairs. Any problem that may arise we can correct fast. And if we’re not around our maintenance man can be there soon. Location Location Location. Need we say more? Cleaned above world health standards.
