About this space
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Country living but yet close to everything! Enjoy wildlife sightings, clean well water and natures beauty with spectacular sunsets from every window. Close to many lakes, hiking trails, and less than an hour to Mount Rainier, Seattle and Tacoma.
The property is natures bounty. It is landscaped and partially wooded in back with amazing views of nature, sunrises and sunsets. You many see deer, elk, eagles, and wild bunnies!
The guesthouse has an open floorplan in the living room and kitchen. The living room has a cozy electric fireplace. You can use just flames, just heat, or both; complete with a variety of settings and a remote control.
The living room and good sized bedroom come with ceiling fans. There is a full size bathroom.
The bedroom has a new queen bed and there is a new futon that sleeps one person comfortably in the living room. The floors are a pretty imported porcelain tile. All windows have blinds. I can provide a blackout curtain for the bedroom upon request.
The Wifi has free HULU, Netflix and Prime Video. WIFI password provided at check in.
If there is anything you need just let me know and I will accommodate you as much as possible! I want you to enjoy your stay with us.
Guest access
You can access the front of the property, but not the back as the main house is all windows on the backside. That way everyone maintains their privacy.
Other things to note:
I occasionally accommodate rescue dog meet and greets and exercise sessions in the back pasture. It shouldn't interrupt you and they are fully fenced in the back area where you won't be. If I didn't mention it you probably wouldn't even notice it. Plenty of parking.

Peaceful getaway

Great location and accommodations!

I decided to show my girlfriend my home town and this location put us right in the middle of all of it! The communication was top notch and Michelle was very kind. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody who’s looking to have a nice getaway and experience the PNW in all its glory. Also the pillows were awesome!

Simple lodging in quiet rural neighborhood

We were visiting the area to spend time with our son and his family, so did not spend all day at the lodging. However, the time we did spend there was pleasant and quiet. The host had generously provided many extra small items (snacks, coffee, and toiletries) that were much appreciated.

Beautiful, peaceful and cozy guest house!

It was just what I needed to rest, relax and unwind from being on the road so long. Michelle is a very gracious host and made herself available to me via text if I ever needed anything. The guest house is warm and cozy and very well supplied with things that were obviously well thought-out by the host. I would stay again and highly reccommend for anyone needing a quiet reprieve or just a relaxing country getaway!

Loved it here

For starters the host is great and such a good person. The place is cozy and is a home away from home except I get to be super close to the mountains which I have none back home. Overall I’d stay here every time I come to Washington if it was a possibility. We felt the location is perfect too. We were able to go to Mt Rainier (sunrise is about 1.5hrs), Cascades (3ish hours), Seattle (1hr) and pacific beach is also under a 3 hour drive. Over all the location is perfect for us and the town near by has really good food too. If you’re going to book anywhere I’d say this is the right place!

Quiet and Efficient

This VRBO is in a very quiet and easy to get to location. The checkin process was very well handled and almost could be called very informal. The facility really felt like home with a very fully supplied medicine cabinet of items you are likely to forget or develop a need for while traveling. It took us senior citizens a while to figure out the streaming services on the television, but we got it figured out. It was fun to watch the dogs roam the property in the backyard and we understood that we could only use the front yard. Our only wish was that there was a spot where we could sit outside in the evening to enjoy the surroundings. We will stay here again if we get back up this way to visit friends.
