We had a lovely stay! The kitchen was well equipped, and perfect for prepping the food for the kids' robotics team! They got to eat like kings while on the road. beds were comfortable, views were lovely, and everything was very spacious, cozy, and a wonderful stay overall! Would definitely book again!
The guest house is lovely, view cannot be beat. Very Clean and welcoming. Communications were very good. The sofa bed is not a traditional pull out bed and was not clearly explained. I should have taken the time to ask specifically about it. The beds were Very comfortable and directions were clear.
This two bedroom apartment is well laid out, decorated nicely, the kitchen is well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. It had a spectacular view from the main living spaces, and the host was responsive and easy to interact with. We would most definitely stay here again.
This was a perfect place for my friends to get together at! The home was spotless clean, very comfortable, fully stocked, and had everything we needed. Would recommend!
Great location, amazing views. Would stay here again for sure.

This is one of the most well equipped, organized, well managed unit we’ve stayed in. From check-in to check-out, comfy accommodations, location, and communication with host, we couldn’t ask for a better stay. Bravo Holly and Robert!
Beautiful, quiet property. Lovely views. Host was quick to resolve a mechanical issue with AC (noise issue). Was able to cook a meal for six as the kitchen as well appointed with quality amenities. Would stay here again for sure!
The guesthouse was perfect for our two college-age daughters, my husband and I. Was just the right amount of space for us to come home and relax after the events of the day. Visiting family breathy so was so much better than staying in a hotel.

It was an absolute delight to stay at this beautiful Washington State getaway. The wall-to-wall windows let in so much sunlight, as well as a perfect view of Mount Rainier. GPS led us directly to the spot. The hosts' directions down the driveway helped us to locate the rental well. This beautiful minihome was clean, peaceful, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed and more. Highly recommend and hope to return for a future getaway!

About the host

We have lived in Edgewood for the last 26 years. We raised our three children here who are all adults now. We now have two cavapoo dogs- babies. When we are not working at our small contracting business we enjoy gardening, going to the beach ,cooking.
Why they chose this property
This property is located down a long driveway off the main road. So it is private other than ourselves and our children and occasional guests coming and going. you have your own private parking area right next to the guesthouse. The Views are excellent from the guesthouse. We are centrally located to just about all major attractions in Washington. (Cities, Mountains, Shopping.) We are close to many grocery store
What makes this property unique
Private Building separate from the main home. Quiet location at the end of a long driveway with sweeping views of Mt. Rainier and Cascade foothills. Close to so many options for food or exploring including the Puget Sound, many lakes and rivers, Cascade or Olympic Mountains, Puyallup Fair and 25 min from Seatac Airport and 35 min from Seattle-both depending on time of day for traffic. Downtown Sumner is just down the hill from us and downtown Puyallup a 5-10 minute drive depending on traffic. We love how central the location is and the sweeping views.
