Check in was extremely easy and the cabin was beyond wonderful. Stay very comfy and the little place was cute and well equipped. My 5yo daughter talked about how much she loved it on the entire second half of our trip.
This was my first solo vacahiking trip, I was a little out of my comfort zone. Staying at this cabin I felt safe and comfortable I would recommend it to everyone. Thank you for being such good host. I plan to return soon!
Everything was great. We wanted to get away and this little cabin in the country was just what we needed. We spent the evening sitting on the porch gazing at the stars and listening to nature. We highly recommend people checking it out.
We loved Joy’s Cabin! We traveled from Louisiana to Arkansas for our 5 year wedding anniversary to go hiking at Petit Jean. It was easy to find the location and it wasn’t terribly far from the state park either. The cabin was super clean and welcoming. We will definitely book again next time we are planning a trip close.
Easy to find (although I may be biased because I’m from the area). I am a very clean person and always find something everywhere I go (mostly hair) and I was so ecstatic to not find a single one. The bedding was very clean as well! The towels and wash cloths actually smelled clean unlike some places you go where they smell a little musty. I didn’t hear any dogs like I saw in one review but if you do, it’s in the country so expected lol. The host was very responsive and polite. The bed was comfy. The place even has a picnic table and grill outside similar to that of a camping site. I recommended this place to my parents as well for when they come down to visit family. We will 10/10 stay here again! :)
Just what we needed! The host was very easy to communicate with and the property was very clean and cozy. Perfectly tucked away in a small town and made for a very relaxing weekend.

Sorry about the dog situation, we have talked to the owners of all the dogs and they won’t help us any. In the country there is just no dog rules and people loves their pets. We keep the cabins very clean and very affordable but I know that only goes so far I know.
