The host was welcoming but the amenities could have been better. Lack of nice kitchen facilities. The backyard could just use some care and it seemed secure for the dogs but may be compromised.

I would first like to say the host was super nice and easy to contact. The property it self needed some better upkeep and cleaning. The back yard was a little tall and was not inviting to spend time outside. The front porch was being overgrown. The inside had quite a bit of dog hair and we had to put a sheet down in the chair to sit in it. We had to mix and match bed sheets and comforters to have a hair free night of sleep. The landscaping needed quite a bit of attention.

The hot water works, but the shower handle needs to be turned only slightly for hot water. The more it is turned, the colder it becomes.

Perfect pet friendly

This house was perfect for our son and his lab! Close to the marina where we were staying. The fenced on backyard was great for the dog. The back yard had a grill that we did not use this time also looked like a great area for a family get together. Mathew was an attentive host

The property was dirty with pet hair everywhere (air, beds, cookware), pet paw prints on the door. With clumos of hair or something by the back door. Almost all the doors jam in the house . Did not feel as safe as possible as not due to a the inproper security with the basement being accessible to people from the outdoors. There was several areas of the basements that were peed in by pets. The shower had yellow staining in it and we needed to wear shower shoes. This property should be better cleaned.

A fixer upper

First, our host was very pleasant, and he was accessible. Second, the location is within a mile or so of a lovely beach. We did enjoy our trip. But this property has been neglected. Maybe it was a recent purchase. There is evidence of some effort at quick repairs, but truly, it needs more work. It’s rough. My constructive advice is to control moisture, ensure drawers and cabinets in the kitchen have handles and open and close without sticking, ensure that the oven can light, that chests in the bedrooms can be used by guests and are not full of tools and paint supplies, and invest in better pillows and bed linens. Take a batch of new pictures for the website and relaunch. A binder with literature about nearby attractions would also be welcome.

This was definitely not a vacation. We brought our 2 little dogs. The yard hadn't been mowed in quite a while. Weeds were grown up about 3 -4 feet deep around the fenced yard. I was constantly trying to keep my dogs out of the weeds. Always picking hard burrs out of their fur. The gnats and bugs were horrible bc of the extremely tall grass, weeds, and foilage. The firepit had trash and metal in it, we couldnt have a fire with the trash smell. I had to always be outside withy dogs to keep them from getting out, getting in the foilage and brush, and keep them from all the junk (old canoes, lawn furniture/umbrellas, old pool supplies and junk piled up next to the old broken down hot tub with trash all around. The bugs and gnats were so bad horrible with the jungle like atmosphere. The entire time outside was spent waving bugs and gnats away from my face. My son didnt even want to go out back. The inside hadn't been swept. I was picking stuff out my dogs mouths bc the were trying to eat everyhing they found on the floors. I killed about 5 spiders, obviously the house needed sprayed for bugs. The property was advertised with a washer and dryer. There was none. The kitchen rugs were stained with spaghetti sauce all over them.advertised corn hole. There were mildewed rotted boards but no bean bags.This was not enjoyable at all. In fact we left 24 hrs earlier the day before check out.

Nice cottage

It was a very cute home! The host was great at responding to messages in a timely manner! He even went above and beyond to mail me back an item my daughter had left behind!! The backyard was our favorite spot! The landscaping is amazing! We had a wonderful weekend! Thank you!
