Beautifully remodeled 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom NorthStar-at-Tahoe, Aspen Grove condo. NorthStar Recreation Center guest passes are available with a daily guest fee - see details below.
The Recreation Center has a fully equipped workout studio, heated pools, an adults-only lap pool, sauna and hot tub, plus three additional hot tubs. In the summer months families also enjoy a children's wading pool, tennis courts, jungle gym and a family picnic area with BBQ's near the main pool. (Guest passes included with condo rental for up to 8 guest per day. PLEASE NOTE: the Rec Center imposes a $10 per person daily use fee for guests which must be paid in cash upon entry. In-and-Out privileges are honored for the entire day.
Condo is located within the NorthStar-at-Tahoe Resort in the Aspen Grove area a short walking distance or shuttle ride to the Swim & Racket Center and NorthStar Village winter ice skating rink/summer roller skating rink, ski slopes, swim & racket club.
The condo is only a 10 minute walk to NorthStar Village, Rec Center and Gondola (walkable weather permitting - an on demand shuttle bus is available during ski and summer seasons).
Condo is remodeled and very nicely appointed. Ideal for two couples or a small family. Enjoy cooking a gourmet meal in the beautifully remodeled kitchen or dine at one of the many fabulous local restaurants in the Village, Truckee or on the Lake.

I was fortunate to be born & raised in Los Gatos California. In 1982 I opened a coffeehouse in my hometown called Los Gatos Coffee Roasting Company which I have operated for more than 42 years now. In 2002, I founded a jazz series in my town called 'Jazz on the Plazz' and produce 10 free-to-the-public concerts every summer featuring world class jazz artists. The program is funded through donations and generous contributions from individuals and businesses. To oversee the jazz program and other endeavors I also founded a non-profit 501c3 organization called 'Los Gatos Music & Arts', as an umbrella organization with a mission to nurture arts programs in my community and our schools.
I love the Sierra Mountains and the Lake Tahoe area for retreat and recreation with my daughter and granddaughter. I dreamed of having Tahoe-ski-get-a-way of my own for years. In 2007, I purchased an Aspen Grove end unit close to the Recreation Center and Village. Over the course of several years, I renovated the unit bringing it up to modern standards and my personal tastes. I am delighted to be able to share my cozy ski condo with my family, friends and renters alike. It has been a very positive experience to share my home-away-from-home.

What makes this property unique
I love the serenity of the area, easy access to the ski lifts and the hot tubs awaiting us after skiing! There are many fine restaurants with high quality offerings. Entertainment choices are run the gamete from down home blues and classy jazz in Truckee including an occasional surprise appearance from world-famous musician. High quality talent is also booked at the Crystal Bay Club on the Lake just 15-minutes away and in Reno about a 30-40 minutes drive.
