We took a last minute summer vacation with our teenage daughter wanting to relax. The property was clean and fit our needs perfectly. Walk to beach was easy and the beaches were not crowded. We enjoyed the walks on the beach and views from the balcony. Pool area was clean and quiet. We ate dinner at local restaurants, and they were very good. I would recommend Dauphin Island stay for a vacation.

The view was gorgeous. I don’t think there would be a bad view from any of these rooms. Very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend the chair rentals. The walk to the beach was treacherous once you came off the wooden walk due to the extremely hot weather. Pool was clean. This condo didn’t have non stick skillet and/or pans. Dish towels were stained. Bathtub plugs didn’t fit to hold water. I would stay again.

The island is absolutely perfect for a getaway with the family. The location of the condo is great, and the staff was so welcoming and helpful. The walk to the beach is long, my husband has back issues that limits his walking and we wasn't expecting a journey like this which resulted in him only going to the ocean 2 times from the room out of our 6 day stay. We did go to the public beach and pay for parking so he could access the water easier. The room is fully stocked, make sure you stop and buy groceries before going to the Island because resources are very limited. But over all, for fishing, private beaches and relaxation, this place is a win. If my husband wasnt disabled we would stay here again. One of the best, friendliest places I've visited so far.

The unit was really nice and the view is great.It's above the unheated pool and there weren't many people in it this time of year so it was quiet on our end. We would definitely re-book this unit.

Relaxing Beach Getaway within Driving Distance of Mobile

I had a conference in Mobile and was able to spend my evenings with family at the beach in Dauphin Island. Lovely stay and overall great experience!

Walk straight out to the beach. Plenty of space in the room for even up to 4-6. Thick walls; we never heard any neighboring rooms.Great price. Fun island town. Not a ton of options to eat out unless you drive inland towards Mobile, but the places we did go were great.

Great Getaway
