Thank you for choosing Stella Place for your stay! I’m so glad you were comfortable and it worked well for your family. You took such amazing care of our lakehouse. We appreciate guests like you and would love to have you back!
Stella Place exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The view, the sweet little beach and fire pit, how well-appointed and organized the home was, with everything in its place. We rented the on-site pontoon boat for the day and had a blast. Also, Allison and Jared, our hosts, were incredibly responsive and helpful. We would definitely return, and highly recommend this stay to others visiting the area.
Beautiful and well-maintained home with all the modern conveniences. Lake is relatively small but big enough for swimming, boating and fishing. Our group of 3 couples, one infant, and 2 single adults loved the space and the large deck overlooking the lake. There are three levels so you will get your steps in. Kayaks, pontoon boat and the paddle boat were in great shape and all were thoroughly enjoyed. The Hosts are very pleasant and and the communication was outstanding. Definitely want to come back!

Thanks for the review Jim! We loved having you and We look forward to your return! God bless!
We loved Stella's place for our annual family trip! It was perfect for small children... lots of toys/books, beach toys, portable crib and kids chairs. We had everything we needed... plenty of linens, comfortable beds, window AC units/fans, stocked kitchen, outside seating, life jackets, and much more! We were able to bring our own boat and dock it at the dock. The fishing was great... good sized pike, bass, and crappy. Plenty of bluegill for a fish fry! The lake was quiet and safe. Close to Ludington! We will be returning!
The property is a great place to take a walk around the lake, fish, we brought our boat and took the kids tubing, had fires at night and enjoyed family time together. We brought 15 people and at times inside the house was full. I would not stay here if you planned on spending any lengthy part of your stay inside other than to sleep and wind the day down. They did provide so many things to play with for the kids, games puzzles, cards, sand/beach toys, life jackets, SUP and canoes. My groups only complaint was that there is no central AC and only window units in 3 of the 5 sleeping rooms. It was a hot week and they were not able to keep up even at night. Overall, great property for a week of family fun!
The house is very spacious and great for a big group. We found everything we needed and communication was great. The house was clean and updated. We loved that it had a great view and that the lake was so close. We enjoyed the fireplace and the kids loved all the kayaks and paddle boards which we were allowed to use.
One of the upstair rooms doesn’t have air condition which was ok for us because it wasn’t that hot. It could be very warm in summer. But that is the only little minus we had.
Overall it’s a great place to stay with very friendly neighbors. We would come back anytime.

About the host
Your host
My husband, Jared, and I grew up in west Michigan. We love everything that Michigan has to offer so after we got married we decided to stick around. We now live in Norton Shores with our four kids.
We bought this house on Lost Lake because we love summer but we realized it has a way of getting away from us when we stay home. All of the endless to-do lists keep us from really experiencing summer the way we imagine it in our minds.
This lake house allows us to completely step away from it all and enjoy summer the way it’s suppose to be enjoyed. Water, sand and blue skies! Bare feet and sunburned!
We love hosting people at Stella place because it allows us to share this summer experience with other families who are looking for the same thing we were looking for.
Why they chose this property
Lost Lake is a very special Lake. The people who live on Lost Lake and who spend their summers there truly appreciate everything about the experience. They take care of their property and they love their time there and cherish it. They love their neighbors and their lake! It’s just a very special place.
What makes this property unique
What makes this property, unique and stand out is the large number of guests it can accommodate, the expansive sandy beach, the way you can walk right out off the back deck and down to the water without a bunch of stairs. The house is fully equipped and rarely will you find that you need something that isn’t there.
There are so many things that I can say about this place and if you read the reviews, you will get a pretty good idea of the experience that you will have.
