Perfect for a Quick Getaway

Cutest beach condo ever! Literally right down from the beach which was perfect. And the pool was everything we needed/wanted after a long day at the beach. Thank you for a great week!

Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities
It started rocky with trouble getting the key to the property gate out of the old lockbox. Though the key didn’t work one day to get into the property at all, and other days there was tape on the door to keep it unlocked. The property is very old and rust on so many areas like the giant indoor fans. There are also birds in the property so bird poop on everything outside the room like tables and chairs, etc. The hot tub had an odd film so we never swam. The room smelled of mold. Tons of dust in all the corners and behind the furniture, the cute stairs are so narrow and small it was impossible to get luggage let alone myself upstairs. Couch bed was miserable. No central AC, just a window unit that keeps downstairs cool and a fan that doesn’t work most of the time upstairs so sleeping was miserable. Mascara stains on my sheets, and I left a big dent in the ceiling from hitting my head at night going upstairs. I would not recommend. At least it had internet and a Roku and was close to the beach. Two stars for that.

Decent getaway but need some lower expectations

The room itself is very charming. It looks very much like the pictures posted. Small details made the difference. The atrium where the pool is located, is very very hot and humid. The cause is likely due to fact that it is enclosed like the pictures show, but ALL the A/C units blow their hot air into that area. It feels like a giant greenhouse. The pool is rather small as well, maybe fits 8 people max. Again, the room is nice, stair case is very steep and narrow. Barely enough room to carry a large suitcase up to bedroom/loft. Going to bathroom in middle of night is "fun" climbing up down steep/narrow staircase in dark. Bedroom had portable A/C unit but the vent to wall/outside was not fitted, so hot air blew back in the room all day and night with cold air from unit. complex is a short drive or fair walk from public beach access. Down street a nice bar/restaurant. Overall a nice stay.
