The Bar offers 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, large kitchen with a 36" professional style range and 10 1/2ft kitchen island, fireplace and a loft with 4 more queen beds.

Annual Family Lake Trip

We stayed for 1 week at the Breakaway Bar & it was great. There were 11 of us, & the house, lake & all held up well. So much nicer than the older cabins we stayed at - no musty smell & felt clean after a shower! We created amazing family memories.

Place is very nice, lots of space, good number of bd.and bathrooms and a nice kitchen and fire pit. Gave it only 3 stars because Pickeral Lake is really overgrown with weeds, the fishing as a result was poor and there was no place to go swimming on hot days.Water toys and accessaries were located at the next door rental which was occupied during our week.Not interested in fishing or swimming during ones stay,I would recommend it.At the least a place with a sandy beach should be available!

Pickerel, our heaven on earth!

Beautiful place to stay on our favorite up north lake! We needed to rent a place to stay on Pickerel as our whole family was coming up north to our cabin for a large family gathering. This rental was everything it listed & more! Beautiful inside & out, very clean & directly across the lake from our family cottage. We had plenty of room for my whole family, with everyone having their own sleeping space & bathroom. Spaceous, well equipped kitchen with a nice outside deck & picnic tables. Beautiful, quiet bay with many views of eagles & a large outside area for camp fires & games! Hosts were very attentive to any questions we had & checked in at start & end of our stay to make sure all was well. Overall great time & we highly recommend this resort!

We had an amazing time staying here for our yearly family gathering. We had 8 adults, 2 kids and came with 2 fishing boats. The dock fit both boats and there was plenty of parking for the trailers & vehicles. The place was spacious for all our indoor and outdoor activities. We enjoyed the paddle boat, kayaks, bonfire area and the big kitchen with dining area for our meals and games. The loft allowed for the kids to have their own area which was a plus for us. Kudos to the nearby Planetarium in nearby town. Owner was very responsive and helpful.
