It was a beautiful place to stay very clean. Just like brand new inside very helpful The Host was easy to get a hold of is right down the street never had to leave a message always picked up the phone. It was a very cool experience beautiful little town.

This place is absolutely amazing. Smelled great as soon as I walked in. This place has all the comforts of home, the beds were very comfortable, and they supplied everything from the shower to the kitchen utensils. There was plenty of room for the kids to play ball in the back yard, which was fenced in, beautiful deck to enjoy the evenings.

This property is very nice and comfortable. The owners have thought of everything a guest would need or want. I found the owners to be kind and helpful. There were so many nice, thoughtful touches. I highly recommend it.

I was pleasantly surprised by this listing. It was larger and nicer than what I had expected. The beds were VERY comfortable, probably the best I've slept on in a rental property . We had plenty of everything we needed. Just a note that there is only 1 bathroom, but everything was clean and well appointed.

Comfortable small town house

Comfortable small town house in nice location. Perfect for our visit with family that lives in Montrose. All the comforts of home. Will be staying here again in future visits. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to visit the area.

Nice Historical Home

We enjoyed our stay in Montrose in this home. It was clean and quiet. The house was old but was comfortable and we were able to do all the things we wanted to on our vacation. Check in and out was simple. Overall, a nice stay.

Great stay in Montrose

My stay was a combination of work and pleasure. The owner was very receptive to all my questions and made sure that everything was great during my stay. The place was immaculate and the beds/bedding were extremely comfortable. It was great having a 2 car garage available to park in as well.

Wonderful place

Great house to stay in! Our family of 6 was very comfortable. It was very clean, updated, and well stocked. A/C worked great and the water pressure was really good! Pleanty of cookware and nice dishes. Would definitely recommend.

WOW - Bald Eagles

We enjoyed our stay so much. We loved driving around to see the Bald Eagles. It was warm outside and a perfect vacation. The rental was very nice as well. We will be visiting this property again. Thank you for making it perfect and comfortable for us.

Great home base!

We had a great time! Well stocked kitchen, with pans, serving ware, dishes, appliances- it had it all to feed our family after long days geode hunting! A very well cared for home and really kind communicative hosts. We appreciated the organization and they had just the right balance of everything you need with lots of room to relax and hang out. Would stay again!

Great Place, Great Bargain

Comfortable beds. Very Clean. Quite a few free snacks. Great shower. Plenty of soap etc. for the kitchen, shower, and laundry. Nice garage. Nice little town with a good local restaurant/bar. Close to Nauvoo, IL (35min)

Mayor Manor

Our first impression of this property was that it was extremely clean. It was well-appointed and complete, from the kitchen, entertainment area, and clean, comfortable beds — fabulous night’s sleep. The beds and all linens were first rate. We appreciated the makeup mirror and all of the other extra touches in the bathroom. Our many compliments to our hosts who were attentive and readily replied to our emails. Lovely, well-maintained house and nicely decorated. If you decide to stay with in this quaint town with midwestern hospitality, you will not be disappointed. Your hosts will ensure you will feel welcomed. I cannot say enough good things about these wonderful hosts.

Matt was so helpful and communicative. I could always expect a prompt and friendly reply to any questions. The property was exactly as described. What made it so great were the little things—a handwritten note with some doggie treats left out for us, a nice table all set, ice cube trays full with ready-to-go frozen ice. In regards to bringing our dog, it was so nice to feel like we were in a space where dogs were loved (doggie bags left out for us, dog towels, doggie treats, kennel, etc!) instead of a space where dogs feel like a liability. The large fenced yard was such a great space for dogs and kids to run around! There is also a great dog daycare place a few blocks away we were able to use when we were away for the day. Would definitely recommend!
