About this property
Groovy Perry District/South Hill Mid-Century Home
About this space
Our beautiful mid-century home is spacious, private and comfy. It looks like a cabin in the pines from the dead-end street, but is well-appointed with everything you may need or want for your stay in the coolest neighborhood in our fair city.
Your well-behaved pet is welcome for an additional fee and deposit. Please contact host if you wish to travel with your animal friend.
The space
Spokane's South Perry District is the happenist neighborhood in town! A Farmer's Market, brewery, cool little shops and the best pizza ever - South Perry Pizza - all within walking distance from this cool house.
The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, and the home is larger than it looks from the street. It is perched above the Perry District with a terrific deck overlooking the valley.
We call our 1948 gem "Wishbone". Two bedrooms, full bath with tub, fabulous kitchen with breakfast nook and a great big living room with huge floor to ceiling windows overlooking the valley. Warm oak floors throughout and a cozy wood-burning fireplace. There is a large deck just off the living room where you can relax in privacy as you gaze over the ponderosa tree tops.
This house has a great feel - the best mid-century features carefully restored with expert attention to detail, from the period light fixtures to the vintage chrome-clad kitchen stove.
Wishbone is at the end of a sweet street that dead-ends into a walking path that leads you straight down to South Perry where there are oodles of neighborhood amenities.
The furnishings are top-notch, right down to the high-end bed linens, towels and fluffy pillows and comforters.
There are two bedrooms and a full bath with tub on the first floor, one with a queen and one with a double bed. On the lower level, which is for the more adventuresome, is a half bath, double bed and laundry.
There is a TV with cable and also high speed wireless internet at the house, but you can;t see it in the photos.
We are pet-friendly, and will happily welcome your well-behaved creature for a fee if we can all feel comfortable about arrangements . Please contact me if you would like to spend your time in Spokane with your pet.
