We love birds and dogs and The Birdhouse was a perfect place for our family get-together in Spokane. The cottage is charming and well-equipped with many welcoming touches provided by the hosts. The large, nicely-landscaped fenced in yard was ideal for our dog. He gives it a two paws up!

The hosts thought of every detail to make our stay amazing—from extra amenities to tonic water for mixed drinks. The house was immaculate and it was decorated with sweet images of birds in watercolor pieces, in iron artwork and on dish towels— very pleasing to the senses. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed making breakfast for dinner one evening. The yard was a real plus— well- maintained and very serene.

The Birdhouse is a well cared for property in a nice neighborhood. It had everything we needed for our stay in Spokane. It shows that the hosts have put a lot of work and thought into making guests comfortable and welcomed.The location is convenient and quiet. The Birdhouse is a cozy and charming cottage with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The location is very convenient to explore the surrounding area and it’s a very quiet neighborhood. We loved the rocking chairs on the front porch while enjoying the beautiful front yard! Highly recommended!

The Birdhouse has such character, was incredibly clean and manicured and the hosts were responsive when we booked. The cottage was a fun retreat away from home while visiting Spokane for a tournament. And our dog loved the yard! We appreciated the hospitality and attention to detail. The Birdhouse is the perfect nesting place in Spokane. It has been put together with thought and theme and is a delight. The sweet living room has a very comfortable new couch perfect for chilling in the evening and watching movies. The master ensuite is bright and cheery and the amazing kitchen is incredibly well stocked and so precious. We had a great time. We did add an outdoor table under the gazebo as the nights were so perfect even though we managed to stay during a hot spell. The Birdhouse and the grounds were an oasis.We would sip our coffee in the morning on the porch, go out for the day and come back to the welcoming house and side yard. The weather was great for barbecuing. We haven't used charcoal in years so there was a bit of a learning curve but it makes you slow down and enjoy the cooking experience.We didn't meet Amanda but Randy was an incredible host, responsive, kind and helpful. We have been using VRBO for almost 30 years and the Birdhouse is a place we highly recommend and the host goes out of his way to help.Hope you will enjoy your stay as much as we did.The Traveling Bigelows

This is just the cutest cottage! We’ve stayed at their sister property- the Beehive before- and this was just as adorable! The hosts are wonderful, home is clean and cozy complete with snacks our kids love. We would definitely stay here again if we have an extended stay in Spokane again!

This house is in a great location. There are coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The area is charming. The location was great because we needed to be close to the hospital and it was less than a 5 minute drive. The place was pet friendly.

The property was beautiful. Very clean and inviting. The kitchen contained everything you needed for cooking for our family meals together. They were very accommodating regarding my son's dog. The entire stay was amazing and you could not have asked for better communitcation from Randy and Amanda.

I moved from Mesa, Arizona to Spokane six years ago, and I've never looked back! For my occupation, I am an editor and author, but my avocation and passion is also found in my properties ... and taking care of my traveling guests. I am always available and willing to help in any way I can.

What makes this property unique

This little cottage is located in a very serene, peaceful neighborhood. For relaxation, it's hard to beat. The yard is completely fenced off, which helps with those who bring their four-legged buddies!

The front yard looks like a masterpiece, always being groomed and maintained for your enjoyment. From time to time you may be there on mowing day, but we will do our best to mow and trim while you're away. If not, we will check with you to see if you'd mind if we proceeded with the mowing.

Security is an important feature in this day and age. The Birdhouse is located in a wonderful neighborhood, however, for the protection of our guests, as well as our property, there are three security cameras on the outside of the building. There is one covering the front entrance, one covering the back door and one in the driveway facing the street. These cameras are not invasive to your privacy, and are only monitored in the event of any criminal activity or accident that may call for a review of the security footage.

The parking is never a problem, as the driveway is very long and will accommodate all your needs. We would recommend that you park closer to the garage door to avoid the sprinklers hitting your car.
