About this property

Birch Lake Haven! Direct Trail Access!

Welcome to Birch Lake Haven! The place that makes all your worries disappear!

Whether you’re soaking up the breathtaking views inside, taking a few steps outside and hanging by the crystal clear lake or even just hitting the bike path that runs on the road out front, this place will have you longing for the sense of peace and calmness you have here, everyday you aren’t!

As you enter the home, you will be greeted by a mud room so you can drop all your outside gear from your day exploring! Once you continue through the mud room, you’ll find the alley kitchen with brand new appliances!

Just outside the kitchen, is the dining room that boasts unbelievable views of the lake! From the dining room, you can make your way to the main floor bedroom, newly renovated full bathroom, or the living room.

Passing through the living room and it’s similar unbelievable lake views and retro fireplace, you’ll find yourself heading up the stairs to the loft area with two additional beds.

Back downstairs, you can take the steps to the newly renovated lower level. There you will find another bedroom, just off the stair landing. Down the hallway, you’ll see another full bathroom and extra lounging space with two couches and a TV. One more bedroom finishes off the lowest level.

Once you head outside, you will be in shock with the lake that is just steps from the door! After you’ve gotten your fill of the sandy frontage and uninterrupted tree line across the lake, you can make your way down the road on the bike trail! Or if you’d prefer a motorized adventure, you can jump on the nearby snowmobile and ATV/UTV trails! And once you’re done exploring for the day, you can make your way into the nearby town of Manitowish Waters for a one of a kind dinner experience at one of the many bars, restaurants, or supper clubs!

Nice little cabin

Everything was good. It's a nice little cabin. Worked well for us. Plenty of pots/pans to cook a quick meal etc. The basement was very, very cold and it took a long time for the heater down there to warm up the space, once it was warm, it's a great additional space. It was nice to have access to the washer for a quick load of laundry and the complimentary soap was nice. We lost power one morning because of weather and the host was quick to repspond. respand

This is our second time staying at this cabin, first time since it has been under new management. I will start with that, and the fact that the new property management company is way better. They were super responsive and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and the out door space was awesome! The living room was super cozy and the tv was nice for those rainy day! The lake had great fishing the week we were there, and it is close to the end of a dead end road so it made for great walks in nature! There are several things they could do to make this place so much better and I shared those with the property manager who said she would pass that information along to the owners. Things to consider if you stay here, the lighting in the kitchen is lacking if you cook after dark so might want to bring a lantern or something, that is not a joke either. We had people holding cell phone lights to help cook at night. Make sure you bring your own knives, because all they had were some steak knives and a bread knife. Also, if you have more than 4 people plan on spreading out to eat because there are only chairs for 4 people in the dining area. We were able to eat outside most days. And lastly, if you like to read in bed plan on bringing head lamps because there are no bedside tables or lamps. I know all that seems like a lot but I still gave it 4 stars because it was clean, comfortable, in an awesome location, and the property manager was great!
