Overall a great place with several areas to hang out inside and out. We were limited by the weather (rain) so didn’t get to use them all, but I imagine it's great with some sunshine.
Had a great stay at the cabin. We are huge fans of the Boulder Junction area and the cabin is smack dab in the middle of it all. Cozy cabin, great three season porch. We were serenaded by Loons and loved hanging by the fireplace. So much to see and do in that neck of the woods.
We had a lovely stay, the cabin is beautiful. It is very well equipped with everything one would need. Thank you

This cabin was perfect for our winter family getaway to the Boulder Junction Area. The cabin was cozy and fit five of us nicely (2 adults and 3 kids under age 10). We enjoyed ice fishing local lakes, shopping, coffee and Aqualand Alehouse in Boulder Junction and the really cool new Glide Ice Skating Forest Loop! Great location on a beautiful lake and short drive just a few minutes into Boulder Junction! Will stay again!
This cabin is perfect inside and out. Love the interior and the way it is furnished. It's clean, very comfortable, and the owners are amazing. Mike went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking to get away and relax. I'll be coming back for sure.

Thank you for taking such great care of the cabin. We would love to have you back again.
Cutest, coziest cabin ever! Immaculately clean and well kept. Had everything we could possibly need. Planning to return in the fall to enjoy the fishing and enclosed porch overlooking the lake! Owners were awesome!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Loon Song Cabin on Little Kitten/Wildcat Lake. Neat and clean, well stocked, comfortable cabin with easy water access and enjoyable campfire ring. Musky, northern and pan fish were active. Gorgeous water views, watched the eagles and listened to the lions. Hiked local trails and enjoyed going to out to eat and cooking in. Highly recommend the cabin!!

Thanks you're kind review, were glad you enjoyed your stay. I Never saw lions up there maybe some loons. ;)
My weekend stay was just lovely! This cabin served as a great basecamp for many interesting hiking trails with an 40 mile radius. It was very comfortable and impeccably clean. Was impressed with the variety and quality of the equipment in the kitchen! Would love to return during a different season - could see myself sitting on the screened in porch all day if the weather allowed!

Thank you for your kind review. We aim to provide a clean, peaceful and home like getaway destination.
Hope to see you again soon.
The cabin was very comfortable and cozy. A bit too cold still (late April!) to enjoy the cute porch facing the lake though. Everything was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. On the whole a lovely weekend! The one small criticism would be that the towels were a weird microfiber material that was hard to get used to.
Cold temps but cozy inside. Winter in Northern Wisconsin is a challenge but worth it.

Relaxing!
This cottage is top notch -- beautifully decorated, with many special touches we appreciated. Comfy furniture and lush towels! We didn't cook much during our short stay, but the kitchen seemed very well stocked. With the summer foliage, the water view was somewhat blocked, but we still enjoyed the peacefulness of the sun room. Cabins are located quite close together, but our neighbors were quiet.

Hello - We just purchase this cabin, 6 months ago, in Dec 2016 and it needed a total make over inside and out. HGTV here we come! We have replace EVERY item internally to bring it up to standards and we are happy you enjoyed the newest and the added touches of the cottage. We replace the sunroom windows and patio furniture and painted the exterior. Yes, we are pooped out to say the least. Unfortunately, we ran out of time on replacing the trees in between the cabins for more privacy due to storm damage. We have recently cut trees down for a better water view. Next year in spring, we plan to add a deck – for more
outdoor enjoyment. We appreciate your feedback and glad you did enjoy your stay with us. Please email or call us for anything else and enjoy the rest of your summer….Mike and Laura
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was well designed and well decorated. We loved sitting on the screened porch and watching the hummingbirds on the feeder. We took out a canoe and paddled to Wildcat lake where a pair of bald eagles were nesting on one of the islands.
We came to ride bikes and this was a pretty good starting point but you do need to ride on the shoulder of the Highway for about a mile till you get to the path. Then it’s about 4 miles to Boulder Junction. Overall, this was a great place for us.
Beautiful surroundings to wake up to. Loon Song cabin is very inviting, comfy and cozy. It was a brief few days get-away. One that was worth it. Just to relax and kick back. What a beautiful lake view from the cabin. It is so peaceful up here in the north woods. This has been a beautiful area to get away to, relax, bike ride, hike and kayak. We would like to come back to the Loon Song cabin.

Cozy cabin
The cabin is wonderful - nice & cozy on our rainy days & nights. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the essentials but the microwave is little - we couldn't fit one of our bowls in it! It was also nice having 2 bathrooms but for the price we paid, we think 2-ply toilet paper could be used instead of the cheap 1-ply. Overall, it was very comfortable for 2 people & we loved the fireplace!!

Thank you for your review and we're glad you enjoyed our cabin. We just install a new stove and refrigerator but did not have time to complete the microwave installation above the stove. This will be completed in the off season.
The health requires that extra rolls of toilet paper are wrapped. Those are the only type we can find to meet the requirement. They're also good for our septic system.
We hope to see you again soon.
Happy travels.

cabin and beach we're great. Wonderful vacation with grandchildren.
We had a great time with our 2 four year old grandchildren. They learned how to kayak and had a great time on the beach. We had a minor problem with satellite tv but owner came and showed us how to use it.(operator error). Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Screen porch was great. We are glad you enjoyed the cabin with your grandchildren. Thanks for your review and sorry that we didn't have a dishwasher to get 5 a star rating ( We never listed one) In late September we have trees coming to replace the ones that were lost from a storm between the other cabin.

relaxing stay
Cabin was nice and cozy.
We were up late in the winter season so alot of the town was shutting down. It gave us the opportunity to use the newer stove and fridge as we cooking a few meals. Everything we needed was provided in the kitchen.
The only thing I could nit pick about would be the king mattress has seen better days and maybe adding a small heater for the great screened porch area.
Overall an excellent and comfortable cozy stay.

Thank you for your kind review. You're the first comment we had regarding the mattress. They are only 2 years old and what you might have felt is the pad that joins the two twin mattress them due to the room layout.
Thanks for staying with us and we hope to see you again.

My wife booked this cabin for us and some friends in order to spend the days snowmobiling. We were all impressed with how clean and nicely decorated the cabin and the rooms were. It truly made our experience even more unique with how cozy the cabin was. Not only was it nicely decorated, but it had everything we needed in order to cook some amazing meals. Being able to drive our snowmobile right up to the cabin was a nice plus. We would highly recommend this cabin and location and look forward to making a return trip very soon. The only downside we had, was that we did not book a longer stay.
