We visit the Oregon Wine Country each year and return to the White Walnut Casita for our home base. Views of the Cascade Mountains from the property are beautiful as are the vineyards that surround you. I can’t recommend this property highly enough. A real hidden gem accommodation in the valley!

The biggest thing we didn't notice about the listing is that it does not have a TV. And there is no seating except for the bistro table and the bed. There are only so many wineries you can visit until they close, and then there is nothing to do after dark especially with no TV. The owner is excellent, he even purchased a grill for our use. The space is very clean and minimally furnished. Some pictures of the grounds would be very cool on the walls! There is sufficient cookware to prepare small meals and a small refrigerator.

Can’t get a vineyard retreat any nicer than this at the price point throughout the Willamette Valley. This will be a staple location to return to for future visits.

We loved this stay! Beautiful views and comfortable casita. This was our first trip to Oregon and we loved it. Highly recommend doing a Tasting with White Walnut too. The wine is fantastic and It was a very personal experience unlike anything else we did on our trip!

What started out as a last minute getaway turned into an exquisite romantic Hideaway that we will return to at every opportunity. The staff, namely, Kevin and Eric provided exceptional support. Our tasting was fantastic. And the space was secure, comforting, and beautifully appointed. The views are stunning. The quiet was so welcome. Did not know it was attached to the winery when we booked it, but it was a real plus. Remember to bring a blanket for chilly evenings by the fire outside, and music if you want it, but please know that this is a fantastic place to completely unplug. No TV, no screens, just nature, good wine, sweet air, and views and room to explore. Did I mention that it is a less than 90 minute scenic drive to the Oregon coast and the vistas of the Pacific Ocean or that you were surrounded by other world class wineries in a community that just moves a little slower? Wow. We can’t wait to go back.

I recently had the most incredible stay in Oregon that truly felt like a hidden gem. The views were absolutely stunning, stretching across beautiful vineyards that created such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Being surrounded by the vines made it feel like a true escape from everything. Each morning was especially memorable. I would wake up to the quiet stillness of the countryside and watch hot air balloons drifting across the sky in the distance. It was calm, scenic, and exactly the kind of place that allows you to slow down and fully enjoy the moment.

The location is incredible! Amazing valley views for sunrise and sunset. Perfect base camp for touring the valley. The Pinot Noirs from the white walnut estate are fantastic as well.

Amazing Weekend Getaway

My wife and I stayed at this property looking for a peaceful escape and it was exactly what we hoped for. The design and finishes of the accomodations were wonderful, the location was perfect for a quick jump into town while still feeling like you're out in the country, and the wines they're making onsite are incredible. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great Stay

We had a perfect stay at White Walnut Estate. The property and view over the vineyard were incredible. It was very peaceful and private, but the location was also convenient to wineries and dinner. This is a great property if looking for a quite retreat with your significant other.
