Artsy Shotgun home in Historic Algiers Point. 5 minute walk to ferry to the FQ

This is an 1200 sq ft extra long shotgun home located steps from the Mississippi River. You’ll find lots of living spaces in this home- 2 living rooms (parlor rooms), 2 rooms with available closet space. One bedroom with a queen size bed and one sofa bed located in the front living room. The kitchen is large for New Orleans homes and the dining room is right beside it. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer available at the back end of the house next to the full bath with shower and claw foot tub.

We want this house to feel like a home. Extra blankets provided, books for reading, records for playing, internet provided, kitchen full of dishes and pans for cooking. Towels and linens provided. Toilet paper provided initially (longer staying tenants should be expected to replace their own when supply is depleted)

The backyard is a shared space with the neighbor next door and contains a covered space to hang with friends or read a book.

The neighborhood is vibrant and family friendly. There are restaurants, wine bars, playgrounds, bars with and without live music, coworking spaces and and cafes within walking distance. The house is approximately a 5 minute walk to the ferry that will take you into the French quarter should you decide to explore.
