Take it easy at this unique and tranquil waterfront getaway. House is completely remodeled Located on Spring Valley Lake with private dock and amazing views. Great way to live life on the water front.

This house is one hour away from Big Bear, one hour and a half from Disneyland, and 2.1 miles away from the Mojave Narrows National Park. You won't find a better bang for your buck on the water!

Access to the whole house except garage. Will always be available by phone. House is in a quiet HOA with rules strictly enforced. Copy of rules are located in kitchen. No parties permitted!

The lake view provided a serene setting that was the cherry on top for our get away. The house is spacious and clean. The fireplace was a nice touch as we relaxed in the evening. Mr. Woolhouse thank you for your prompt response to my messages. We would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. The place is perfect sectioned off, spacious and clean. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. If you looking for a place with a laid back vibe, and quiet atmosphere, this is it. The cherry on top is the water you can look at that provide peace and serenity to the soul!!! Cute House on the lake

Super cute lake house in a beautiful neighborhood! Plenty of extra blankets. Huge living room couch for the whole family to relax on after hanging by the lake all day. Chuck was very responsive and even let us know the place was ready 90 mins early.

Lake views with cozy fireplace

When you open the front door your eyes are drawn to the beautiful view. My husband I are seniors and we enjoyed the single level living and spent a lot of time on the deck watching the ducks and geese. Kitchen well stocked and furniture comfortable. Fireplace an added bonus.

First off, the host is amazing!! Chuck responds in a timely manner and is very helpful. The house is beautiful, peaceful and calming. We really enjoyed watching movies in the living and the lake view at the same time. Also, if you leave anything behind of value, rest assure it will be safe and returned. I can speak from experience. My fiance and I will definitely return. Thank you Chuck for your hospitality and the cleaning staff for their honesty.

Enjoyable Lake Front Property

We pretty much enjoyed our stay. The house was a good size, and the neighborhood was very nice. There was a problem with the heating controls in the house, though. It was extremely windy and cold in the area when we were there, and I turned the heat up to warm the house as there were drafts and then discovered in the middle of the night that the system was turning itself down to 55 degrees and it was very cold in the house. The system appeared to be set and locked so I couldn't reset it so had to get up during the night both nights in order to turn the heat up. Host should probably rethink the heat settings when someone is renting the house during cold weather. Additionally, the stove appeared to have had someone put cleaning solution on the top of the range and it was all over it to the point where it ran down the front of the stove and onto the floor. If possible, I would suggest the host have someone inspect the house after it has been cleaned before someone else rents it to avoid situations such as the messy stove. Thanks!

Sounds like you had a good experience with a slight operator error. I am not sure why you didn't reach out but the lock symbol is just so people can't turn the AC and Heat outside the set parameters of 64-82. All you have to do is turn the dial up or down to adjust temp. Glad you had a great time otherwise!
