What a beautiful, private and comfortable stay we enjoyed! Celebrating our 44th anniversary in such a magical space was lovely! The wildlife combined with the ever changing cove view (change of tides) was a treat to see every day. We experienced the treasure of yesterday by going to the near by drive in theater, as well as the near by restaurants and clam shacks - something for everyone. We will definitely be back!
Lovely view and ambiance and the cottage had and all the amenities you could need! Stayed on a cooler rainy weekend, yet we still got to enjoy the water front views from the covered back porch. Also enjoyed the outdoor shower. Perfect place for our long weekend stay.
Great getaway with mom and sisters. Adorable and cozy. On the smaller side put perfect for what we were looking for! Especially enjoyed waking up to the view of the Cove from the bedroom upstairs.
A lovely little hideaway on the marsh. Host was communicative and accommodating. We enjoyed having leisurely meals on the deck, watching the marsh fill and empty, and listening to the night sounds. While technically just off Rt. 6, it's set back far enough to be very quiet, even with the windows open. Close to neighbors in the little cottage community (not a place for a loud gathering), so it was perfect for a relaxing weekend. Lecount Hollow Beach on the ocean side is a 25-minute walk, but it's a quick drive and free after 4/4:30--or buy a guest pass if you're there for a few days and have your choice of beaches (then enjoy the outdoor shower). : )
Clean and cozy, but skimping on some of the basics. Pros: the house was clean; good location for going all over the cape; good kitchen equipment; the kids loved catching the small crabs in the nearby marshCons: Only 4 towels and 2 washcloths for a family of 4 for the whole week (we didn’t hear back after asking for more); we had to buy more TP and paper towels as well
Great location! Cozy home. Very comfortable. Great marsh view.

They should be more up front about how long the "mud flats" are exposed. There is more time with mud than water and sometimes "low tide" doesn't smell so nice. Inhibiting the use of the cute deck and high-top table. Also, the bathroom is not meant for larger people. Not heavy just big. My son had to turn sideways to go through the bathroom door, his shoulders wouldn't fit through opening. The upstairs bedroom was open to living area below, so if someone was asleep you really couldn't move around the kitchen.Sweet, quiet, tiny cottage. Would not return.
This was a great place for our early spring stay on the Cape. Everything was an easy drive from this location, and the cottage was cozy, clean, and well-appointed. We had a wonderful time during our visit; thanks for sharing Cove Cottage with us.
Great, rustic cabin with an amazing view. Very cute place and hope to stay there again. And the owner was very responsive to our questions and recommended a great French bakery for breakfast/lunch. Loved it!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and very comfortable. Loved having coffee on the deck each morning. Morning and evening views were magnificent.
this is a great small getaway cottage. Everything you need for Cape vacation. Their kayaks are a nice extra. So many Cape beeches close by (and an incredible bakery a short walk).
We've rented all sorts of properties in Wellfleet over the years, and this one is among the most attractive. The kayaks are very good to have, but you can use them only with high tide.

The view was spectacular. The cabin not so much. A little musty and dirty. The furniture was not that comfortable. I didn't realize how close to Route 6 the cabin was. I expected more for the price.
Lovely little hidden gem. Rustic cottage with everything needed. Many other cottages around, but you really don’t even know they’re there because you have a beautiful view of the marsh from Lovely deck. Again.
The cottage was very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. lovely view overlooking the cove. Enjoyed a glass of wine in the Adirondacks chair in the late afternoon and before dinner. Really loved the outdoor shower. The host was very responsive to my questions.
Had a wonderful time. Love the covered deck for morning coffee and afternoon relaxing. The outdoor shower is a real plus since the indoor one is so “cozy.” The new sofa is super comfy. Made us realize we get along just fine in smaller accommodations than our house!
Cottage was clean, kitchen was well stocked. The essentials were reliable: great water pressure for shower, kitchen, wi-fi worked well. Check in/out was easy. Nice friendly and helpful neighbors - some are renters, others own their condo in this little neighborhood. The listing and description were accurate: you get what you see. Great location to get to Wellfleet Center, Marconi Beach, short hikes.
We loved our time here at this clean and cozy Cape Cod getaway. Beautiful views and a friendly and very helpful host. I brought my 86 year old Dad with me and he had a great time too! The path down to the water was a little too treacherous for him ( no actual stairs or railing) but he loved sitting on the porch and looking out. I would definitely return. If you want what seems like an authentic Cape Cod cottage, come here- it’s great!

This is a nice place to stay, but it lacks the privacy that I thought it would have. The view is beautiful, but as far as kayaking, don't bother. The cove is only good at high tide and there isn't decent place to launch unless you don't mind walking through muck. The bedroom upstairs is a bit cramped. If you are 5'7" or more, you'll have a hard time moving about. Overall, it is a nice place. We have rented on the Cape and Vineyard for over 30 years and for the price paid you expect a more privavcy and seclusion as was mentioned in the description.

Not as clean as I would have wished perhaps because it was after the summer season. Had to buy a new shower liner as the one provided was black with mold and mildew. Cheese or peanut butter crusted in upstairs rattan bedside table. Bathroom extremely tiny. Not very private if that's an issue. On the plus side the beds were extremely comfortable. Plenty of lights, air conditioners in both bedrooms but no cemtral heat - only space heaters. Fortunately the weather was quite comfortable for October but our first night there was very chilly. The cottage was fine for 2 people but too small for any more. The owner was responsive and kind.
