Perfect house for our family ski weekend at Gore! We loved the hot tub and plenty of beds and baths for everyone. Great communication with the manager and easy rental experience. Would definitely rent again.
We had a great family trip to Gore Mountain to snowboard! The hot tub was wonderful to relax in after a day on the slopes. Lots of space to hang out and enjoy some family time.
My husband and I stayed here during peak leaf-peeping season - it's also the bridge season/slower season in the area, so we made sure to pick a place with a kitchen since most nearby restaurants were closed. We had a wonderful time! It's way too much house for just two people, but we didn't mind. Next time, we'll bring friends!!
The House was really beautiful, de spend some nights with our friends and it was Like the pictures show. The host was really available. I recommend it !
All was as advertised beds were comfy and accommodations were all great ! Only wish was a table and chairs for our outdoor deck hang out but understand probably used during winter months more! Loved the hot tub! Great stay !

Overall:The stay was okay, with a few positives, but it didn’t quite meet expectations.Pros:Hot water worked well in all bathrooms, which can be unusual in rentals. Name brand shampoo and conditioner were provided - also unusual, the hot tub was hot enough, and there were plenty of towels. Beds & pillows were comfortable. Very close to Gore, as promised.Cons:We booked this over other properties for the sauna, but when we tried to use it the room began filling with smoke, so we weren’t able to enjoy it. The house is older than expected and didn’t feel especially fresh. The kitchen had a slight smell, and we noticed dust buildup on radiators and windows, dust in corners, and small hairs on the floors in two bathrooms. This might work for guests who mostly want hot tub access, and a lot of beds, but we were hoping for something a bit newer and cleaner. Fine for a short stay, though probably wouldn’t book again unless upkeep improves.
We had a great time at the house. It was a little hard for us to find but the owners were very responsive and gave us directions and got us there quickly. The house was pristine when we checked in, everything was in working order, including the hot tub that we all enjoyed!Overall would recommend and would stay again. We had concerns about no air conditioner in the bedrooms upstairs but it was a non-issue. Be aware that the coffee maker is not a pod style coffee maker so grounds are recommended. We had a fantastic weekend getaway!
Wonderful home. Clean, warm and welcoming. They have put time into details for an easy to stay at rental. All necessary amenities and bonuses! Hot tub was fabulous after a day of hiking! (Sauna and basement for fun). Property owners had instant communication when needed and were wonderful to work with. Will definitely stay again!
I have done this trip about once a year for the last 20 years, I absolutely love the mountain and love to bring people with me. This house was by far the best house I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The amenities were amazing and the hosts had fantastic communication. Less then 5 minutes from the mountain, a hot tub that I will need to get the make and model of cause it was fantastic and a great kitchen and table for board games. Will definitely be staying here again on future trips!

I believe the price that they asked per night for the home was reasonable. The cleaning fee, however, was very high for the home not being that clean. The trash had not been removed for quite some time. Thank God that the guys that were with us knew how to run the woodstove and that needed a good cleaning before we proceeded to have an enjoyable evening in front of the fire. We are all great cooks and enjoy our time together being able to cook at the homes we stay at we could not get to the outside grill because it was covered in snow which 3/4 of the deck was full of snow. The toilet in the basement leaks every toilet seat in the house was loose. We felt as if the kitchen was not as well stocked for a higher end rental. And most of all the Wi-Fi was off. It worked well when we first got there and then we were not able to get on the rest of the time which is very misleading from what we understood and very hard for us to be able to do business while we were there for two days.

A Wonderful Stay
This is the second time we've stayed at the Gore house, and it was really great. We got 14 inches of snow while we were there, and it looked absolutely beautiful. The snow didn't affect us, though, because the plow came right away and cleared the driveway to allow us to make the very quick drive to Gore.
The house is really terrific. Very comfortable, roomy, clean. We loved going in the hot tub during the snowstorm -- totally cool.
Highly recommended for a wonderful stay.
We visited for a weekend of spring skiing at Gore Mountain. The property owners were very responsive and helpful prior to our arrival. The cabin was perfect for our group of 5, providing one king bedroom, 2 queen bedrooms and a bunk bedroom we didn't use. It was well equipped and very comfortable. The hot tub was clean, spacious and functioned perfectly. We also loved the foosball table. We didn't have time to try the sauna, but would have liked to. Next time! Gore Mountain was just a few minutes away, and North Creek only a bit further, about 6 minutes. Also several hiking trails nearby. Altogether a great choice, we had a really good weekend!

A wonderful stay
Our getaway was really wonderful, and we are very grateful for the experience., from the great communication provided by our hosts, the easy key code access, and the amazing house itself.
The house is terrific. We had more than enough bedrooms for our family, and the house is big enough that we never felt like we were on top of one another. We also made use of the kitchen extensively, cooking most of our meals in the well-stocked kitchen. Most importantly, it was such an easy trip to Gore, 3-4 minutes at best, so we’re were able to get back and forth multiple times during the day.
We had a great experience, and can’t wait to visit again.
Just completed a 2-night stay with 5 friends for a bachelor summertime party trip. This home exceeded our expectations. Indoor and outdoor seating options were plentiful. The hot tub was larger than anticipated and fit all of us comfortably. The home itself had plenty of bedroom options and we never felt like we were on top of one another. The wood-burning sauna worked as advertised and was incredibly fun to get going. The physical space of the home was perfect for us. The location of the home was likewise fantastic. We weren't here for skiing for Gore is just down the road. We river rafted out of North Creek's downtown which was 5 minutes away. We also visited various distilleries surrounding Lake George and never felt like the home was too far from the hustle and bustle of the Lake. Highly recommend this home for anyone coming during any season. Hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating also. We left behind a valuable ring and the hosts promptly shipped it back to us following the stay.
Property needs some repair and updating. Biggest issue was inadequate air conditioning. Upstairs bedrooms could not be cooled by living room wall unit and temperatures in upstairs bedrooms was in the low 80’s every night

Beds were comfortable except for the full size one. Kitchen needs an update and a good cleaning (cupboards need to be wiped down & cleaners need to move things to wipe counters). Shower floor in the basement needs a good cleaning also. We were disappointed, because I was looking forward to sitting in the hot tub & enjoying the view of the mountains. The picture is older & yard has grown & you can’t see the mountain. Plus there was a clump of leaves in there. New pictures need to be included. Also the book contained a page of suggested Restaraunts and everyone was permanently closed. You might want to put up a sign at the street. It was really hard to find the street in the dark.
